At Downtown Chandler Café we serve breakfast and lunch. This includes delicious eggs Benedict, waffles, french toast, sandwiches and salads. We make European style pastries and amazing meals. We thrive on always using fresh ingredients and providing excellent customer service. We make everything from scratch, like our cinnamon rolls that melt in your mouth and our delicious chocolate chip cookies. The breads that we also make from scratch for our sandwiches are: ciabatta, focaccia, wheat, marble rye, butter croissants and bagels.

We previously owned the Bagel Nosh on Cooper and Warner until we decided to implement our expertise in offering more variety in the menu. We take pride in treating our customers like a part of our family. We have over 20 years of experience in the restaurant business. Our chef and owner, Hector Velazquez has been in the bakery and restaurant business since 1989.

Meet the Business Owner

Hector and Lupe V.

Business Owner

Hector has been in the bakery and restaurant business since 1989. He is the chef and owner. He started his work assisting a French Pastry Chef in La Quinta, California. This is where he learned how to make European style pastries. After working in La Quinta, Hector went to work in Tustin, California as a Pastry Chef in a 5 star bakery. He then went to work as a Pastry Chef in downtown Upland, California where this bakery had been in business for over 100 years. Hector continued to grow in experience as a Pastry Chef and wanted to make the dream of owning a bakery & café a reality. Therefore, both he and his wife, Lupe V., decided to make the move from California to Arizona. They owned and operated a Bagel Nosh in Gilbert, AZ from September 2004 to February 2010 and on March of 2010 they began their business in the café.
