In Pittsburgh, we specialize in custom draperies, fabric shades and blinds. Here in Phoenix, we specialize in customized select-​grade custom plantation shutters (painted and/​or stained), wood blinds, faux wood blinds, vertical blinds, sunscreens, honeycomb shades and all Hunter Douglas products (I am a Hunter Douglas Priority dealer). I’m also a Graber dealer, and a Kathy Ireland/​ALTA Home Fashions dealer. All of our prices come complete with guaranteed measuring and installation of all products.

Most of my products have a lifetime guarantee, because they are manufactured right here in the Valley!

All of my estimates are free and my delivery time is the quickest you will find.

I started my business in Pittsburgh, PA, in 1979 and have been here in Phoenix since 2003… Currently we are celebrating our 35th year of existence…

We used Boyd’s for white plantation shutters in our house. He had the best quote out of the three vendors that we considered. I also like that I was supporting a local business. Boyd took measurements and recommended 4 inch shutters, which no other vendor even brought up so I had no idea they existed. Upon taking a walk around my block, I noticed everyone else had 4 inch shutters so his recommendation was spot on. He said the shutters would be done in 6 – 8 weeks so you can imagine the pleasant surprise when they were done ahead of time. They turned out beautifully and the installers were professional, prompt and courteous. I would recommend this company for anyone looking to install plantation shutters in their home.

They took extra care to wipe off and present a finished product. Dealing with Boyd throughout the process was a pleasure! We needed blinds for a newly purchased retirement home. We knew that want we wanted would not be cheap so we decided to talk to several suppliers. Two of them we found through very good Unilocal reviews. Both seemed very good but only Boyd was able to offer the exact product that we wanted. We did not think that it was possible but Boyd was even better than his reviews. Response time, professionalism, knowledge, quality service and installation, and price were all exceptional. I was looking for a reputable company to install blinds on all 17 windows in my home. I found a «deal» in a magazine and checked Unilocal before I called the company. Thank goodness for Unilocal because I discovered they had awful customer service etc etc.
That led me to Unilocal a different blinds company, which led me to Boyd’s Blinds. Again, thank goodness for Unilocal!!!
Boyd himself came the next day, gave me 3 optional quotes (I wasn’t sure if I wanted my master bedroom to look different and all that), gave me courtesy, gave me great customer service, and gave me peace of mind.
He emailed me to follow up and when I called him with questions on products I saw at lowes, he provided me info on that as well.
My house looks amazing. It’s cooler in temperature and sexy in appearance. It’s a comfortable place to be.
Boyd is AWESOME. My blinds are AWESOME. If u want the best customer service, if you want to support a small owner-​operated business, and if you want to replace your messed up and outdated window shades… well you now know who to contact: BOYD MILLER!!!

It was sunrise, as a prepared for my daily routine before work with a healthy dose of news and coffee. For the fifth day in a row in my new home, my anger was growing as the glare from the piercing sunlight crept and consumed the television screen like a virus.
I needed some sort of window coverings, but I admittedly was very naïve as to where to seek advice and what to purchase. I was referred over to Boyd’s Blinds from a friend and customer of Boyd’s, and could not have been more satisfied with the level and quality of service and finished product. In my initial consultation Boyd walked me through the variety of window covering options and I was surprised to learn how many options I had. Based on my needs, he helped me narrow down and determine that shutters were the best option for me within my budget. He walked me through every step of the process and delivered as promised.
I had an excellent experience with Boyd and his team. Whether you have foreknowledge of what varietal of window coverings your home needs, or you are like me, and need assistance, he answers questions and gets it done. Although I still watch the news in disgust, it isn’t because I cannot seen the screen.
