Nice and new looking. Ordered a cinnamon roll and fish n chips combo. The combo came with fries, Cole slaw, toast and a cup of clam chowder but we substituted pot roast soup. Our server was polite and pleasant and the food came out quickly. The cinnamon roll was decent… it was warm but a bit dry. The fish was hot, crispy and nicely seasoned. The fries were average and toast was good. Cole slaw was horrible not good flavor and tasted stale. The pot roast soup looked and tasted like Campbells Chunky soup. I was hoping to find a good restaurant but it was very mediocre. Seems a bit pricey also.

Came in for a patty melt. Seems pretty standard. Asked that the onions can be all the way cooked, and my waiter sighed. Ok. 25 minutes later with four other tables my food came. The onions were not cooked and my Frys were greasy and not actually cooked. The waiter maybe hadn’t ever eaten in a restaurant and didn’t know that one requires napkins, drink refills, etc. To summarize, the food was awful and the service worse.

Has potential, but left a lot to be desired. First off, when you walk in, if during peak times it can be a little intimidating and off putting. It is literally chaos as patrons are trying to pay at the counter while others are searching for some guidance on where to check in for a table. It’s a small entrance and needs revamping ASAP. After a quick mental recap of the movie DaVinci Code I was able to decipher where one needs to check in. I imagined the wait would be long, but to my pleasant surprise they do move quick. Was seated within 10 min or so. Once seated you can clearly tell they may have been understaffed. The servers were doing their best, but it did take a while to get acknowledged and out our drink order in. He was apologetic once he arrived and promptly took our order. I ordered the Southwest Delight(egg scramble with spicy choose, onions, and bell peppers) came with hash browns and choice of toast, biscuits, or pancakes. I chose the pancakes as to me that is the baseline for all breakfast places. Well the scramble was bland for being chorizo and a little soggy. The pancakes were very dense and slightly above say a Denny’s pancake. Seemed the batter was over stirred for those that know what I mean. A little on the tough side. The GF ordered the Turkey Scramble and again very soggy like drenched in excess liquid and she got a side of biscuits which again seemed like they over kneaded the dough and had too much flour. So far the best thing I had was the coffee. Once your done you pay up at the front. Which means having to tackle the gauntlet that is the death match of trying to pay in a line mixed with incoming guest looking to sign in and guest looking to pay. Literally took me 10+ min of standing there while they sorted through the mess. While this place has potential and is slightly better then say the good egg. Can’t say it would be by go to choice to return unless convenient. Really wish I could give half stars as this experience was a solid 2.5 stars.

We were Very disappointed! The Eggs were horrible, the pancakes bland. Long wait for food, expensive. On a good note-the bacon was good. Won’t go back.

This restaurant was just opened up a week ago and it is already packed when I got here this morning. The restaurant is clean, organized and spacious. Service is as good as you are going to get since they are super busy. The crowd was super loud, I could barely hear our conversation. Majority of the customers are elders and retired folks…(interesting). I don’t know if I would bring my friends to hang out here. The receptionist area is so crowded and unorganized I did not even know who to speak with and get a table. It was chaotic. Neverthelsss, we got seated fairly quickly. The flavor of the food was VERY disappointing. I ordered a berry waffle with two eggs and sausages. The waffle was not all the way cooked. It was smushy and tasteless even after adding lots of syrup on it. Sausages were tasteless. I know I was eating waffles and sausages but yet I couldn’t taste any of it. The gravy that my friend had isn’t as good as other location neither. Overall, we are very disappointed in what we had. We did see the owner walking around saying hi to «selective tables». It would have been nice if he bothered to stop by and asked us how we are going instead of skipping us over… Him and I crossed eye contact once. His smile was so not genuine maybe it is better off that he didn’t bother talking to us. Since it is their first week grand opening, we will come back here and try it again in a few weeks. Hopefully the food and the atmosphere will change on my our next visit.

I have to say, I wanted to give this place only 2 stars because it really was«Meh» however; it has great potential so I think as they get into their groove everything will improve. The menu for one has a lot of selection for breakfast entrees. So you get your standard, traditional entrees and then the twist on the classics too. I almost gave in to the almond crusted french toast but at $ 10.59 I opted for the traditional french toast which only had one slice and 2 other items for $ 8.59. The interior could use some«freshening», it’s pretty drab. I believe it was the actual owner that greeted and seated us(later he was talking to some patrons at another table) but he was mundane and not very friendly. Our waitress however; was very sweet and attentive. The prices seems a little high since they are just comparable to a Good Egg or maybe a step above Denny’s. The food was mediocre but again, I’d like to try other items to get a better overall feel. We went about 10:30 on a Weds and it wasn’t crowded but not dead either. This particular restaurant pad has been at least 4 other places that I know of so will see if this time next year if it’s still thriving. But still, nice to have a decent breakfast place in Chandler that is not a chain.
