The Army National Guard is a traditional Reserve component of the United States Army.
National Guard Soldiers typically train 1 weekend a month and 2 weeks out of the summer, career fields include Aviation, Engineer, Military Police, Infantry, Transportation, Explosive Ordence Disposal, Communications & Signal, Logistics, Medical, and many more.
Arizona Army National Guard Soldiers receive the Montgomery G.I. Bill, Federal and Arizona State fully funded Tuition Assistance for all in state Community Colleges, Universities, Technical and Vocational schools.
The Army National Guard’s highest priority for all first term Soldiers is completion of higher education, while serving their country and community.
