I bought a dress for a Christmas dance last December. They did a wonderful job!

$ 24 for a pair of pants, no discounts on multiple articles… RIP OFF, dont waste your time!!! I read bad press on Unilocal but was at mall anyway so I stopped in. Thanks Unilocalers for heads up… stay far away from this joke of a business

Beware! This business does not honor any of the Unilocal deals listed! I purchased the $ 100 voucher for $ 75 and when I went to use it, the tailors there had no idea what it was, and said that the owner had never mentioned anything to them about it. They also do not honor the 10% off check ins unless your alteration is over $ 100… Which is not notated as a requirement on the deal at all. This horribly run business is misusing social media marketing, I am awaiting my refund from Unilocal and taking my business elsewhere.

I needed pants HEMMED for my grandfathers funeral and she wanted to charge me $ 32!!! I said please these are just pants and she said that because they r wide hemmed that it’d be $ 32. Unless you have money to throw away I’d stay clear

I found this cute dress on clearance at Dillard’s that I purchased to wear to a wedding, but it gaped open on both sides under the arms (It was not wearable straight from the rack; it would need to be altered. Hence, the clearance section).
My husband told me about an alteration shop in Tempe. I drove all the way over there just to find out no one in the store spoke English. I looked on Unilocal.Several people on Unilocal with great reviews had their businesses out of their home and were by appointment only. I was getting desperate to find a good seamstress. Not sure how I found out this place was in Chandler Mall, but I’m so glad I found her!
Originally, she told me that it was going to be a lot of work (and money) to rip out the seams and re-​sew the dress because the zipper was located on the seam. She gave me a less expensive option for a hook and eye latch to save money. I opted to spend the extra money and have the zipper re-​sewn back in to look more professional. I saved so much on the dress; I figured I would splurge a little on the alterations.
She did an amazing job! I couldn’t have been happier. The dress fit perfectly and there were no signs of obvious alterations. (I received many compliments on the dress too.)
I would definitely recommend Alterations by L and will be going back next time I need alterations!
