History

Established in 2014.

Myriam Valenzuela has been a dancer since age 4. Her passion for the Polynesian Dances grew and she started serious training to become a Kumu Hula at Oahu, Hawaii. Her main teaching comes from Kumu Pattye Kealohalani Wright which comes from Aunty Lani Kalama (Kahiko) and Aunty Bella Richards (Auana) in the Hilo tradition ‘ai ha’a style. Other cultural richness comes from various Kumu Hula from International Hula Conference in Waikiki, Hawaii.

Started practicing Yoga in 2004 and found immediate healing for her spirit. Her practice brought her into a deeper journey to explore various styles of Yoga. The physical aspect of Yoga brought healing to her chronic neck pain and to her lower back. It also brought her out of the pit of deep depression and anxiety. Yoga along with other healing approaches help her restore balance in her life and become a deep sleeper again after 5 years of living with insomnia. She wanted to share all this wellness heaven to everyone, she got certified in 2010.
