Our authentic log cabin chalets are located just 5 miles from the gates to Seven Springs & Hidden Valley Resorts. Our guests experience a real mountain get-​a-​way in our secluded mountain retreat.

Our chalets feature real wood-​burning fireplaces with plenty of stocked firewood, full kitchens, 4 sleeping areas with beds for 8 guests, two bathrooms and entertainment (WiFi and Cable)

We are a short 10 minute drive to both Seven Springs and Hidden Valley resorts in the Laurel Highlands mountains of Western Pennsylvania.

History

Established in 2014.

Claycomb Chalets was built by the late Jack Claycomb Sr. in 1985. Jack was a master builder and mason that retired to the Laurel Highland mountains in the early 80’s.

For nearly 30 years Jack leased his cabin chalets to local mountain workers, ski patrol and seasonal visitors. Visitors returned year-​after-​year to the Chalets and still do to this day.

In 2014 Jack’s adult children took over their father’s legacy and opened up Claycomb Chalets to the public to enjoy the authentic cabin experience to travelers and thrill-​seekers that visit the Lauren Highlands. Claycomb Chalets offers 2-​night to seasonal rentals year-​round.
