The team at «The Upper Bout» is dedicated to the music industry and the arts. We have a great admiration for what Champaign has to offer, and believe in growing musicians and the community. We are working hard to provide an inviting, comfortable space that inspires creativity, that is a point of connection, and a destination store.
«The Upper Bout» offers mid-range to high-end guitars, basses, amps and accessories. The inventory catalog is embodied in the store name. It refers to the upper widening of an acoustic guitar. We also provide lesson and performance spaces to all practicing musicians and novices. Our goal is to grow an environment where people want to participate in music or simply observe it. We want people to find their guidance and their success in what we have to offer.
