Hands down the best barber shop in campus town. Been coming here for a year and every time I walk out with a job well done. Also Dave’s from around champaign, so everytime I get to learn a little more about campus and the town.

This is my favorite barber shop on campus. Dave and Gene are very friendly and they provide good cuts at a good price.
The price is a bit high, but I’m pretty sure that’s because most of the walk-​in clientele doesn’t understand that you have to tip your barber (sorry, UIUC freshmen). Still, $ 20 for a good haircut in a place that makes me feel really comfortable is well worth it, and I always make sure to tip the guys a buck or two for their trouble.

This is a decent barber shop, and this is where I usually go for a haircut. They do a good job, and they’re nice enough while they do it.
If you want a cheap haircut from someone who can’t make a living doing it, go to Supercuts. If you care enough about your hair or local business to spend a bit of money, come here. $ 19 isn’t a bad price for the quality and service level you’re getting.

So as nice as Dave is, this place is overpriced and not worth the steep cost. A haircut cost me twenty bucks and on top that, it was probably one of the worst haircuts I have ever gotten. It was honestly my mistake as a freshman of going to this establishment not knowing that there are other places that have better prices and quality.
