would you like to go back in time and see the glee on children’s faces when they have nothing to do but play? Clark Park has somehow preserved this experience. This is an awesome neighborhood park that we have been lucky to have used for the past 12 years. It is surrounded by houses that fetch more per square foot than any other neighborhood in Champaign, but it’s kind of worth it. but don’t feel like you can only use this park if you live in the Clark Park neigbhorhood. This is a wonderful place to play tennis, basketball, volleyball, or swing. In fact i did this on Sunday with my kids and it was all that and more. lots of dogs visit and tons of space to have a picinic. other activities which grace the park: 2 campouts each year(bring a tent and some ghost stories), movies on a big silver screen(thanks to the park district), concerts by the award winning Edison Middle School Jazz Band, 4th of July bike parade, and an annual Easter Egg Hunt.
