Ramos Autos and Trucks

This place does not live up to the hype. Matter fact, I would venture to say that you should avoid purchasing vehicles from this place. I purchased a 2008 BMW 335i from them about a week ago. I knew that the car needed a little work, so I purchased an extended warranty through my bank. Thankfully I had the warranty, because three days after purchasing the car the serpentine belt broke, I needed pulleys, a low pressure fuel sensor, and oil filter housing seals. As a buyer, I know that it is my responsibility to have a car checked before purchasing. However, items that should have been taken care of by the dealership were obviously over looked. The tires were worn beyond bald, the car had not passed emissions, and maintenance had not been done. Also, I just had to make a loan payment on the car I traded in because they have yet to send in the check to the bank… Yea, I am paying on a car that they now own because they haven’t paid off the original loan for the trade… All in all, very in happy.
*update* After calling the dealership, I will say that they have been willing to help. John, the sales Representative said he would call me back after speaking to the sales manager. Hopefully they can right this situation.

The enthusiastic reviews here and elsewhere are suspicious to me. The people there were nice, but when we took the car we were interested in for a pre-​purchase inspection there were a number of expensive basic maintenance problems wrong with it. If you find something you like from here be sure to get it checked out by a third party because they are either deliberately unethical about intake or just don’t look too closely.
