H Massage

Great massage place that is open until 11 pm and very reasonably priced. They keep the massage rooms nice and comfortably warm for the customers (instead of for the staff like some other places I’ve been to) and are very friendly and accommodating. I love deep tissue massages and they haven’t disappointed yet. The front area for foot massages leaves a little bit to be desired in terms of atmosphere and privacy (screens do an ok job here) from lighting and traffic in and out, but hopefully this will be fixed at some point with feedback on Unilocal.I definitely wouldn’t stop going there because of it, as it is harder to find consistently good massage places open late at these rates than it would be to find a nice looking place with inconsistent service and less than adequately trained people.

This place is amazing. I’ve been to several places near by. I believe these guys are doing something right. Very friendly staff and consistent on the service. I love when they walk on my back. Does wonders for me! A +++

My boyfriend & I had the couples massage & it was so not worth 100 $. The massaged areas of the body were pretty much random. She didn’t massage my feet. They asked us if we wanted oil & we agreed. Apparently she said it cost x amount of dollars but didn’t understand b/​c of the language barrier. I have never been anywhere u pay for oil. So BEWARE OIL MASSAGE IS EXTRA! After it was over they stood there like vultures waiting for a tip. Not just a tip but a 20% to be specific. I came based of a recommendation plus the review. I will not return

For our anniversary this year, my boyfriend and I decided to get foot massages. A friend told me about the ITP location of Treat Your Feet, but the reviews weren’t the greatest so I went with H Massage since they had much better reviews.
I called and made an appointment for Sunday at 2pm. The lady on the phone was very kind and let me know that I didn’t need to wear shorts or anything (I had never gone for a foot massage so I didn’t know what to expect). That day, we happened to be running errands in the area sooner, so we went in around 1pm and I asked if the appointment could be moved up. They gladly catered to me and sat us right down. Luckily it wasn’t busy at all.
Just like other reviewers, I’m not a fan of all the massage chairs being in the front room with the check-​in table and front door, but I understand that it’s the limitations on the space that they have, and probably what keeps the price down to $ 30 for an hour long foot massage.
Everyone there was very kind, leaning the chairs back for us. I would have enjoyed some hot tea but it sounded like it was saved for clients getting full body massages. The massage starts out with a hot soak for your feet, allowing you to relax. Both of our masseuses were very good. My massage started out light, and I thought about asking for more pressure, but I’m glad I didn’t. My masseuse ended up using a lot of pressure. It was painful at times, but the good kind of pain you need when you are trying to get knots out.
The massage focuses mainly on your feet and lower legs, with the last 10 – 15 minutes spent on your face, neck, shoulders, and thighs. I suggest women not to wear a lot of make-​up going in as they massage your face and it feels OH SO GOOD. I was able to relax most of the time. It seemed people were respectful of others, except for the new clients coming in and speaking to the receptionist.
I’ll be back. It was a good experience and an inexpensive pampering treat! I’m interested to try the Thai massage as well!

Liked, not loved… But for such a great price, can you really complain? Came here with my brother and boyfriend after a great phở lunch on Buford Hwy in search for a nice foot massage. Service was great, and the owner really took the time to speak to every single person and make them feel welcomed. The massage in itself was good, but the placement of the chairs were right next to the front doors, which made it very noisy and hard to relax.

My fiancé booked us in for an hour long foot massage.
Massage — a very good foot massage. The pressure was perfect and my feet felt wonderful afterwards. They also spent about 10 minutes on my shoulders, head, and arms with a strong massage.
Ambiance — not relaxing at all, which is where they lost two stars. The foot massage area is not sectioned off in a private area so you can hear people coming in and out constantly, not to mention the phone ringing. The patrons also didn’t respect the atmosphere, as many were loud walking in and didn’t turn their phones off during the service.
Price — very reasonable at $ 30/​hour for a massage.
Overall — I would come back if I had really sore feet but I certainly wouldn’t expect a relaxing environment.

The Unilocal reviews this place has, got me into paying a visit to the place. I purchased a 1 hour couple’s massage to be spent with the wife on her birthday. This was our first full body massage, so we don’t really know how it was supposed to be. But at the end of it, we felt very relaxed and I guess that accomplishes the goal for the day.
The staff were courteous, and we thought they knew what they were doing. Overall it has everything that you would look for when trying to find a massage parlor — hospitality, affordability, knowledge and decency. If I am ever in the area, I would love to return.

Although I have been to quite a few foot massage places in California, this was my first time trying out an Asian foot massage place in Georgia. I saw all the good reviews here so I decided to give it a try (wanted to make sure it wasn’t a shady foot massage place…). I called ahead to let them know we have two people wanting an hour long foot massage. We were immediately seated in one of the massage chair upon arriving. For a good 10 minutes or so we just had our feet in the water, soaking. The two men eventually came over and started the massage. From my past experiences, these foot massage places are generally a hit-​or-​miss depending who works on you. Surprisingly, both the men doing our massage were great. The pressure was just right and I felt like they knew what they were doing (hit the right spots). The foot massage is really mostly just working on the foot/​thigh area. At the end of the hour long massage, they did do some work around the face, the arm, and the thighs.
Overall, I had a very relaxing experience. Although in California I was used to paying 20 dollars for an hour long foot massages that also included some work on the back (they do offer a 30 min back +30 min foot massage for $ 50 here)… I guess there’s less competition in Atlanta so that they charge a bit more. At least I will keep this place in mind next time I need a quick foot massage.

I have been here twice and each visit has been great. I usually get the 2 hour massage (90 minutes full body and 30 minute foot massage). The prices are reasonable, the place is clean and the staff is friendly. I would definitely recommend this place.

Was out randomly running errands and decided to get a massage. I asked Siri to tell me the closest massage place to me and this was it. I was a little leery at first, but now I am SO GLAD I FOUND THIS PLACE! The people are so friendly and it’s quiet and peaceful inside. It’s not at all super fancy, but it’s more cozy and feels like you are being welcomed into someone’s home. They even offered me refreshments during my foot massage!
I got the combo 30min full body, 30min foot massage and at first I was nervous it wasn’t going to be long enough but it ended up being MORE than enough! I like this place because compared to other massage spas, they don’t try to nickel and dime you for every little add on service. My 30min full body massage was amazing! I had a male masseuse and he made it feel like it was deep tissue and it even included hot stones, hot towels, and my choice of oils! Then from there, my 30min foot massage included a foot soak, hot stones, hot towels, and massaging of my ankles, legs and thighs!!! I am so glad I decided to come here! I will definitely be back!

My rating is based on a comparison with other similar massage places around the area (ie: harmony, treat your feet).
I came in for an hour foot massage ($ 30). My massage was done by an older Chinese lady. She was distracted the whole time and kept stopping randomly to talk to her coworkers. She massaged my feet really slowly and I could tell she did that to fill up the one hour slot. I was disappointed with the massage because there wasn’t variety. She used the same rubbing motion throughout the whole night. Maybe she was tired and wanted to go home… I don’t know. With other massage places they would also spend a lot of time on upper body. But here she kind of rushed through it and only did it for 2 – 3 minutes. She was nice but just didn’t really put that much effort into the massage.
The highlight of the massage was the hot stones and hot towel (which is sad). I liked how professional the staff was and how peaceful it was in there. Chairs were also more comfortable than other massage places.

Can I give a bad review to keep people away… all for selfish reasons?
Every time I’ve been it has been a good experience. I leave feeling rejuvenated. The front desk staff are very nice. I got a hug last time I went.
It’s is not fancy. It doesn’t smell like eucalyptus. The music doesn’t drown out the world. The linens have been around a while and do not match. But they are soft and oddly remind me of my mama’s house.

I went here based on the Unilocal reviews after a week of back pain. I feel so much better. Su got into every nook and cranny of my joints and muscles. I will come back.

I went yesterday for an hour body massage. I’ve had 25 – 30 massages in my lifetime, and this was the best. Mei Ling was very competent and used acupressure techniques … she found all of my trigger points … I left feeling more relaxed than I ever have.
In the past (at other places) I have had Swedish massages that left me with very painful spots for days; somehow Mei Ling’s approach was very different.
$ 45 (plus tip) for a super competent massage? With friendly staff and a relaxing, homey environment? Wow.
And I finally got to experience a therapist who stood on my back and used her feet to stretch me out before the massage digging began. It worked great on me!

My husband and I have been going to H massage for past two years. You may be wondering what H stands for, H is for Harbin, the city in China where the owners are from. The owners are a hardworking couple. The husband was a general surgeon in china and the wife used to work in public health before coming to the US. We love this place. You can basically walk in here but If you want any particular massage therapist its better to make an appointment. If you like deep tissue massage make sure you tell them in advance so they can assign you a strong massage therapist. My husband is a big muscular guy and he usually gets someone who can walk on his back. For me I don’t need walking on my back but I prefer someone stronger and most of the time if I call ahead of a time I get a good/​stronger person. Last time I got Nancy and I think she was amazing. I had a headache getting in and by the time I was done it was gone.
The owner Autumn is very friendly and caring. She will always make sure that you are comfortable. They offer wide selection of body oils, but you might have to pay extra for some of them. The place is very clean. They also offer foot massages. I have tried it once and it was really good.

This is the only massage/​reflexology place I’ve tried on Buford Highway, and it’s been good every time. So I can’t really see myself branching out to the others any time soon.
You enter with a warm greeting from the desk person, and are promptly taken to your destination: either the multple massage chairs in the front, or one of the private rooms in the back. I would suggest calling about an hour ahead to make sure they’ll have someone ready when you arrive. The front room is dimly lit, with peaceful music playing throughout the place. The staff tries to keep their chatter to a minimum as well, but I’ve had a few instances where two friends worked side by side and chatted almost non-​stop.
The massages themselves, even if they differ slightly from person to person, are pretty good. Like most Eastern massage places, I’m not sure how much formal training the workers have received. The pressure is good, but their attention to privacy is a big fail. Both my girlfriend and I have had «handsy» experiences. I don’t know that it’s as intentional as it is about them just not seeing it as a big deal. Whereas western massage places really cover you up well and avoid certain areas, I had a lady massaging my entire butt without thinking twice! So if you’re not ready for that, maybe tell them ahead of time like I do nowadays. If you want to avoid privacy issues altogether, opt for the super deal of a $ 30 hour long foot massage. Can’t really beat the price! They use hot stones at the end, and you get a bit of a rub down on your scalp and arms as well.
They also have a frequent visitor card that gives you $ 20 off after several sessions.
I’ve been to some places that don’t even try in the customer service department, so it’s nice to see an establishment that does care. It’s kept me coming back over 5 times now.

I went here today at the recommendation of a friend. I didn’t want a weak Spa Sydell experience — since I’ve had so many massages in Asia, it’s really hard to compare to those! This place is incredibly affordable — much more cost effective than most massages in Atlanta, and likely a better actual massage. I will say that the owner/​managers were incredibly appreciative of my business, they wanted me to relax prior to my massage, the therapist was great — very strong hands and attentive to pressure, hot tea or water and a sweet treat was offered post-​massage, and the price for the massage is right! I will definitely return here.
These are things I think most people would want to know if they aren’t familar with Asian massages… The downsides were that the therapist did try to upsell my on oil and additional time DURING the treatment (no one wants additional fee options thrown at them while they’re trying to relax), the interior of the shop and rooms themselves are very Asian — bare bones and nothing fancy… very basic — what some would think APPEARS to be unclean but it’s not, and it’s a little off the beaten path from the city (not far, though, approximately 15 – 30 minutes depending on where you live in Atlanta).

This massage parlor was decent. I’m used to actual spas but this was cool. My boyfriend and I got a couple’s massage on a whim on a random Saturday afternoon. I heard about this place from a few people and the reviews on Unilocal were pretty good. Plus, it was close to my house to we decided what the hell?!
They were accommodating when I called and requested an appointment within the hour. I thought we would be a few minutes late but we arrived a minute before our appointment time. The owner and her husband were ever so nice and we got a discount for coming in a pair.
The massage lasted about an hour long and they massaged everything from my head to my feet. I had to let them know not too hard on my back but everything was pretty cool. The massage was good. I would’ve liked it to have been a little softer or gentler rather. I guess my boyfriend enjoyed his because he was asleep (ZzzZzZZz — snoring). All in all, cool experience but I think I’ll go to an actual spa next time. I would have loved to sit in a hot sauna after this massage.

So I didnt get greeted with a tea or anything :(Just went straight to my room.
However, this is hands down a massage I loved! I recommended this place to my friend and he immediately booked an appt here the very next day and even he felt that she was amazing!

H Massage is one of the reasons I love Atlanta and, especially, Buford Highway. It is the only place I go to these days for a massage.
Service is always welcoming and so friendly. For first-​timers, don’t be surprised if the female owner comes and give you a hug when you walk in. I’ve been here so much, I fully expect it now. I assume they are a husband/​wife team and they are both so sweet.
But know what you want because although they are sweet, they are out to make that paper. Up-​selling like crazy. It is all still worth it and the prices are the best you will find for the quality you get. Just be prepared. Try a foot massage, you will not regret it. A full hour of heavenly massaging of every inch of your foot plus a scalp/​face, arm/​hand, and leg massage. They also use hot stones and this massage stick. All for $ 30. No doubt, at the end, they will ask if you want to do another 10 minutes of a back massage for an extra $ 10. If you are feeling splurgey and have the time — do it. They will flatten the reclining chair all the way down and have you turn over on your stomach. The last time I went, the whole experience put me to sleep and the owner laid a blanket on me. What a wonderful nap!
They have full body massages for $ 50 and if you like your massages firm and have kinks to work out, this is for you. You can ask them to go lighter but they will absolutely put in work. And walk your back if that’s your style. They also do a mix of 30 mins for your feet and 30 mins for a body massage.
I’ve had various masseuses and haven’t had a bad experience yet. They are open until 11pm every damn day. I’ve taken my sisters, mother, employees, boyfriend, and friends visiting from out of town. Each one has loved it and many have returned.
The only reason I don’t give the full 5 stars is because of the up-​sell hustling.
