I came to Basha’s on a referral through a friend after the frustration of bad haircuts, inconvenient locations, & unprofessional atmospheres. In addition to doing great work and being centrally located, Basha’s is the classic«urban country club» type of Barbershop. I get commentary on everything from basketball to business and finance to football. The atmosphere is modern and clean with multiple flat screen televisions, stereo surround sound, & wifi. Reem(the owner) is both a Master Barber & Meticulous Leader who expects and gets the best out of his staff. This now my home Barbershop. I get cut weekly, always by appointment.

My wife and I are visiting from Texas and I wanted to get a hair cut. I saw this place on Unilocal and decided to give them a call. All the reviews mentioned a barber named Louie. So when I called I asked for Louie. The guy that picked up the phone promptly said«Louie don’t work here anymore» and hung up the phone on me. I called back and told him that I had more questions and I didn’t understand why he hung up the phone on me. He let me know that he was cutting hair and didn’t have time for a lot of questions and Louie don’t work there. So I told him in the future he might want to be a bit more mindful of those trying to give him more business as I was and not be so rude to potential customers. I’m not sure what happened to or with Louie but whoever the guy was that answered the phone deserves a lesson in customer service. Never let someone unprofessional represent your business.

I’ve been here about at least 6 – 7 times and Louie has never let me down. Good conversation and very talented as a barber.

Got a haircut here recently from Louie. Here’s what I liked about the shop. It’s clean, spacious, and the barbers have a professional appearance. Barbershops are renowned for their value as a community meeting place but I’ve found that, that can be a blessing and a curse especially when barbers are distracted and too busy arguing whatever the topic dujour is with no regard for the patron’s time or schedule. That was not the case at Basha’s. Louie made just enough small talk to fill me in on his background and learned enough about me to deliver real customer service. Oh and they finish all their cuts with a razor. Nuff said, I highly recommend.
