Business Owner

One could confidently say, Howard (Howie)was born into the window treatment business. As a child, his Mother and Father owned and operated a window treatment business, Brand Custom Draperies, in Northern Virginia. Howie gained valuable experience as a teenager by helping his father, Ron, with installations and continued to develop his expertise over the next few years. He was hired by a large firm in South Florida and moved there in 1985. Over the next 11 years, Howie gained valuable insight into the new trends of the window treatment industry. Plantation Shutters, Wood Blinds and Shades had arrived! In 1996, he returned to the Virginia area and started his business, now known as Howie’s Blinds & Shutters LLC. In 2005, he moved his family to Chambersburg, PA, where he currently resides and continues to provide a top quality service.
