Very snobby environment, not welcoming what so ever, and the owner was very rude. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone!

Where to begin… I love this place! Jess is a true artist. She took my yellowish dull locks and turned them into the healthy, platinum strands I always wanted them to be! All the while keeping my length and not breaking the bank! Lisa has done my brows and pedi and I can not complain. I don’t have much brow but she seemed to give them life again. As for my pedi, my nails were perfectly manicured and polished! Worth the visit!

Love Sugar and my stylist Jess! Found the salon on social media and all of the positive reviews had me wanting to try it. Jess listens to what you want and is amazing with color! All the stylists are young and hip and up on the latest trends and techniques. Maria does amazing make up too!

So, after seeing a million posts about this place over the last few years, I finally decided to stop in and give Sugar a try. I’m so disappointed (in myself, that is) that I waited this long!!!
First off, the girl I spoke to on the phone was polite and friendly. We are off to a good start. There was no runaround trying to get an appointment.
I arrived to this adorable salon, where I was greeted by that same lovely young woman who offered me a drink (I already had my giant coffee).
Maria brought me back to her chair, we discussed a few options for my hair and I asked her to please work her magic. I asked for something light, fun and low maintenance. She’s a miracle worker. I am honestly looking forward to my next visit with her. Aside from being INCREDIBLY talented, she is hysterical to boot! I’m not sure I’ve ever had that much fun at the salon before.
Lisa was kind enough to shape my brows for me. She did a lovely job, and it was virtually painless!
Finally, that brings us to Victoria. She took care of my manicure and did a great job. It was pretty nice to be able to have an entire conversation with your nail technician during a manicure; Victoria was so sweet and a pleasure to work with.
All in all, I would highly recommend Sugar Salon & Spa to anyone. Often times, you get what you pay for. I feel that my trip to Sugar was worth every penny!

Love this place! Recently moved to the area and came across Sugar Salon when I was looking for a place to get my haircut.
The girls who work here are friendly and very professional. Upon entering I was greeted immediately and asked if I wanted anything to drink.
The décor inside the salon is beautiful and the place is clean!
Maria cut my hair, and she did an amazing job! My layers came out absolutely perfect.
Needless to say, I have found my go to hair salon and I will definitely be back!

When is the last time you spent 16 hours, spread out over two days, in a hair salon? This was my introduction to Sugar Salon and Spa.
I emailed Jess a 43 page novel about the mess that was my hair prior to my first appointment and she took her time to read and respond to all my concerns before I was even a client. We decided a tentative plan of attack for the major overhaul that my hair needed, throughout which Jess provided an expanse of information without promising anything unrealistic, which I appreciated.
We made my first two appointments (knowing that I was going to need multiple sittings for what we were going to do) and when I arrived for my first appointment it was clear that Jess was as excited to work on my hair as I was to get new hair. Jess than proceeded to work on my head for 8 hours both days– I was her first appointment of the day and I was there through her last appointment of the day. There were numerous stretchs of time where I was under the halo dryer or sitting at the sink, but at no point did I ever feel forgotten. Every staff member there went out of their way to talk, be friendly, and offer me refreshments– by the end of the second day I felt like I was friends with all of them, as opposed to just a new client to Jess.
I’ve since been back to Sugar a number of times– sometimes as short as an hour for a toner and wash, up to another 6 hour trip for a new color, and every time I feel like I’m coming into the home of an old friend. All the girls are wonderful, and Jess is a hair genius.
Since moving I now travel almost an hour to go to Sugar, and I wouldn’t have it any other way. Worth the trip and so much more.

I started going to Sugar back when it was La Vie Deluxe on a recommendation from my brother (who has long flowing locks of hair). The last stylist that I had really loved had moved away and I was stuck with mediocre (or worse) haircuts for the better part of a few years. But that ALL changed with my first visit to Jessica (now owner of Sugar).
Not only is Sugar’s décor adorable and staff super friendly and welcoming, but the place is SO CLEAN, which is something I find really important.
Jessica is by far the best stylist I have ever had. She has the knowledge and ability to give me really fun, youthful, playful hairstyles that still translate well into my 9 – 5 office life. I keep my hair pretty short, and having a stylist that isn’t afraid to give me something a little different has been so hard.
I’d have to say my favorite thing, though, is the fact that they really get to know you. I don’t need to go in there reminding them that I need something that will be easy to style in the morning, or that looks okay the next day when I just don’t feel like washing it again — Jess just knows.
Side note: my mom has really long, curly hair that she’s looking to have cut short (so she can donate it) and Jess was able to give her some really great advice.

I’ve been to Sugar Salon & Spa a few times and can’t say ENOUGH great things about the place. From the shabby chic décor to the friendly staff… it’s definitely a wonderful atmosphere!
I’m a bit of a hair freak… and haven’t had my hair cut in two solid years after a traumatic hair incident. However, I had been craving a red dye job-​and knew my hair needed some major TLC. So I booked the appointment with the lovely Jess-​and didn’t look back.
After my appointment had to be canceled due to weather… Jess rescheduled me and stayed SUPER late after hours to accommodate my schedule the following week.
She did an AMAZING job and seriously couldn’t have made me happier. I was overjoyed with the color, THE CUT and of course, the company!
This place has made a lifer out of me!
