Crème brûlée cupcake: my reaction after consumption = How. Do. They. Do. It?
It is so delicious I have to temper myself and make sure to only buy small quantities.
It’s magic.

Wow! So many amazing treats at Sugar Me! The best two can’t miss items are their oh ohs (homemade ho hos) and their salted caramel whoopie pies. In fact, I ordered a chocolate cake with their salted caramel frosting and it was the best cake I’ve ever had!!! The item I would skip is their chocolate chip cookies. Too cakey and not worth it. The best chocolate chip cookies are actually a block over at lemon falls café. Back to Sugar Me, their peppermint patties are delicious as well as their hand pies.

Sugar Me is a lovely addition to the east side. They also have a few parking spots designated just for customers. Hooray! That alone is GOLD for Chagrin Falls. Once your GPS tells you you’ve arrived, navigate to the back of the buildings and look for their sweet little sign with white lights.
While the interior is very small, the bakery selection is outstanding. When I brought home my tasty treats, the box didn’t even last 24 hours in my house. My Mom and I maintain that Sugar Me has the best cream puff we’ve ever had. Everything in this bakery is completely authentic… and you can taste the homemade love in every bite!

While they don’t have a full café, they have coffee, tea and hot chocolate. There’s also one small area to sit, but I recommend taking your pastry to go and enjoying the beautiful waterfalls on nearby outdoor seating!

Stopped in for dessert after lunch today and had a salted brownie, chocolate mousse cup and a cupcake. Everything was fabulous. Very cute inside too! Locally roasted coffee was also very good!!!

I placed an order for holiday cookies using their link on Etsy, the order was placed on 4 December and on Christmas Day no cookies! I communicated with Teresa the owner many times and she told me on 18 December that my order was shipped that day. On the 23^rd I emailed her to see if she had a tracking number because no package had been delivered… No response. The 24^th of December I ask again and when I didn’t get a response I asked for a refund of my $ 59, no response. 25 December I get an email from her stating that they have had problems with the USPS and that they are looking into new delivery methods for next year. Fast forward to Monday the 28^th and the package arrives and the postage date on the box was 24 DECEMBER! The owner lied about my package being mailed out on the 18^th and then tried to say it was because the USPS wasn’t doing their job. NOT COOL… that is no way to run a business and lying to your customers is completely unacceptable! I noticed that others have recently left the same kind of review as me.
I pressed her for a refund and after some trying she finally gave me my refund. So, I tried he cookies and they were just ok, nothing great. The wedding cookies were tough either they were stale or they were over mixed. The iced sugar cookies were too thin and small for the price. I won’t ever shop with them again.

Tried the macarons, mini cupcakes and homemade hostess looking thing. All were fresh and de-​lish!!! This is a great spot.
This week I ordered a bday cake for my husband. They recommended the salted caramel frosting. It was one of the most delicious cakes I’ve ever had. And beautiful.

Desserts are very good — ESP the Oh Ohs. Make sure you get a couple! They are the perfect little childhood sweet! Service is pretty friendly — maybe a little cool — but still friendly. It’s a very cute little spot in a little hidden corner that deserves a try.

Everything here is amazing. Try the uh ohs. You cannot go wrong with any dessert though.

We almost missed this bakery because it is kind of hidden, but I kept dragging my mom along until we found it and I’m glad that we did!
I couldn’t believe the selection, ranging from cupcakes to biscotti to french macarons to various types of cookies. It was really hard to choose. We ended up with a pink champagne french macaron, pistachio cranberry biscotti dipped in white chocolate, and a mini key lime pie. Everything was delicious. My favorite was the biscotti because it was tender and had a nice variety of flavors. The macaron consistency was a bit dry for my taste, but the flavor was good. I should have gotten more than one of the mini key lime pies because it was really good, especially the buttery crust.
I would definitely recommend this bakery if you are out and about in the Chagrin Falls area.

I finally went into this bakery! I purchased two cookies… a chocolate chip one and an iced lemon one with cream cheese frosting.
The cookies tasted bland. They were soft, no chewiness and the chocolate chip had barely any chocolate chips. I gave the lemon one away, and my friend concurred that it was awful.
I may be wrong, but these tasted as if they’re made with a shortening (crisco) or a shortening-​butter combination. This will make soft cookies, but you sacrifice flavor. In any case, for a dollar-​plus a cookie, they should be amazing from a bakery.
The cashier was nice, but offered no suggestions, and just stood and stared until I made a selection. The shop is very tiny and cute.
Maybe their cakes are better, but I don’t think I’ll be back.

I really hate to be the only person not giving 5 stars, and maybe we just went here on a bad day, but the selection was really poor and the service lackluster. We’ll go back to try again, and perhaps I’ll revise this review, but honestly, we were hugely disappointed, especially given all the great reviews. Cute little shop, great location, walking distance to the Falls. But I’ll take Presti’s in Little Italy over this place any day!

So happy to find a new hidden gem for my favorite sweet treat… cupcakes! I had the white cupcake with lemon frosting. Very moist & fluffy. The frosting is almost the best I have ever tried. I’m pleased that a small business like this exists in my town… I stumbled across it walking my dog one night and sure glad I did. Keep up the good work!

The most adorable little place! Cupcakes are tasty and just gorgeous. Will definitely be a big hit if you order for an occasion or just grab some in case youre going to someones house for dinner. Other solid options are the scones (honestly, by far the best ones Ive tried in years), the lemon cookies and the mexican wedding cookies. They also have coffee or tea and a small yet adorable and cozy sitting area if you want to have your pastries right there. The staff is always friendly and patient while you are making your choices. The only hiccup is that sometimes you hear a baby crying in the back, im guessing someone who works there (or, more realistically, owns the place) has a toddler. But in all honesty this is so minor and rare that it absolutely does not take away from the great experience.

I love this little business! It’s tucked away in a little back corner of Chagrin Falls (past the Little Theater). Me and my sister picked up at least 6 different treats, all for around $ 15. Sweet deal and tasting platter if you ask me! I would advise for all people having date night in Chagrin Falls to go on a little walk and end up here for dessert, and not Jeni’s.

Stopped in for the first time today as I had heard this past week that Brittany, whom we had met when she worked at L’Albatros, had started this patisserie. The website is very good and the pastries we had were excellent. We ordered a Sugar Lime Cookie, a Napoleon, a Fudge Brownie with Pistachio Topping and a Chocolate Whoopie cookie. Next time we’re going to try a S’Mores cookie. The person in line behind us said that Sugar Me is as close to a French patisserie as you’re going to find around here. I suppose you could add Coquette Patisserie in University Circle to that list but it’s great having Sugar Me so close. They have very good store hours including noon to 4:00 PM on Sunday which means we may be stopping in after church.

Wonderful desserts!!! I love to pick up the sea salt brownies if I need to take a dessert somewhere :)

Excellent! We ordered a cake from Sugar Me for my wife’s birthday (dark chocolate with mocha filling and chocolate frosting) and it was delicious. The cake was moist and the frosting and filling were very light. It was absolutely the best special occasion cake we’ve ever eaten.

I was looking for a local bakery to provide some pastries for an office meeting and stopped in to check them out. Tried all the flavors of the mini cupcakes as well as a moon pie, biscotti, Irish shortbread chocolate, and a couple others. ALL were delicious! Will definitely be back for more.

Located in the back of the Coach House Square building off West Orange Street, Sugar Me Desserterie is a mother/​daughter owned bakery that is a wecome addition to Chagrin Falls. The coffee is locally roasted by Rising Star Coffee (
) and they grind the beans and make each cup upon order. I tried a few mini desserts and they were all delicious in the way that only freshly, lovingly made desserts can be. Melt in your mouth, roll your eyes up in your head good!
They had such a huge variety of beautiful items, it was very hard to choose. So if you need dessert after dinner, an afternoon sugar fix, or cake for 500, this is the place for you.
If you happen to be on foot, Sugar Me is easy to get to via River Street, just past the Chagrin Valley Little Theater on your right.
