History

Established in 2001.

So who are the people behind Small Hands Big Dreams Learning Centers? We are Jennifer & Brian Sprafka, and we honestly didn’t see «childcare center co-​owners» in our future when we were high school sweethearts. Jennifer pursued her passion for child development beginning in 1992, as she worked in all facets of childcare and completed her degree in Early Childhood Education, while Brian went into business management.

Jennifer recognized that she had oodles of ideas on how she would like to improve the quality of the childcare and education and Brian had an entrepreneurial streak, so in 2001, we decided to put both of our backgrounds together to take a shot at running our own childcare center. The parents’ enthusiastic reaction to our center allowed us to grow quickly. We subsequently opened a second location and then a third as the growth continued.

During this growth, we were fortunate to meet some wonderful people who shared our passion for child development and joined our team.

We are Jennifer & Brian Sprafka, and we honestly didn’t see «childcare center co-​owners» in our future when we were high school sweethearts. Our family consists of our 2 children — Corbin & Chloe. We have experienced the amazing quality of our teachers first-​hand, as both of our children attended our centers from the time they were infants.
