Being born and raised in SoCal during the 90’s means you listened to No Doubt, Sublime, Offspring, Blink. and you had at least ONE skateboard. Or if you’re like me, you had 2 skateboards, and a long board for the beach haha. If you were a skater, you wore Vans. It just seemed to be the«thing» to do! My first pair of checkered slip-ons lasted me 3 years, and I’ve never had sneaker love for any other brand but Vans! I recently stopped by this location to pick up new trucks and wheels for the boyfriends board because one misplaced rail grind and now he’s got no wheels in front haha. Nothing happened to catch my eye for his replacement, so I meandered to my other favorite section. SHOES! And I saw that lovely Disney logo. One high pitch squeal later, and I was eyeballing the Belle slip-ons. Only to find out my size was sold out. No worries, they ordered it online for me, and they’ll be here by next Tuesday! Yay! The girls here were fabulous and totally helpful with the online ordering and replacing the wheels for bf’s board! Super appreciative(^_^) $ 40 – 60 for most styles, which is fairly cheap considering most kicks cost over $ 100 nowadays. Which is ridiculous. Glad my classics never try to gouge my wallet. Only bummer is that it’s sort of in between the entrances, so you gotta do a little walking but the location is decently sized and you don’t feel squished like at some of the other locations. Great customer service and they always having what I need. I’m a returning customer for life haha.

I have visited this store twice in the last month and it has been a wonderful shopping experience. I bought my first skate board in years just about a month ago and my first pair of Van’s shoes in years. I had been to every shoe store in the mall and even tried on a pair of Van’s at another store. Then I remembered that the service was great and I had the 2 Twenty dollar off cards with me. Once again I was treated to great customer service the two ladies working the registers were great to deal with. One of them remembered me from my visit the month before. I shared with them, that I got my Alva board signed after I bought it. I stopped by after my purchased to drop off some See’s candy cause they were really sweet. Thanks again

Nice location, kind of in between entrances so you’ll have to do some walking.

Maybe I’m just old skool, but each time I visit a Vans store, I get all nostalgic for the days when Vans used to be the ISH. I’m talking about the time when you used to lace each shoe YOUR way, tossed over a pair of Z Cavaricci jeans/dress pants, each pant leg rolled tight and up around your ankles. Wow, looking back, that was such a terrible look. Matter of fact, I recently saw that 80’s movie, Fast Times at Ridgemont High, and noticed Spicoli(Sean Penn) wearing a pair of the Vans slip-on’s. OFFTHEWALL! Anyways, Vans surpassed the test of time because their shoes are simple and classy. Solid colors, neat looking patterns, laced or slip-on’s. Skateboarders love the look and their styles just can’t be beat. Nowadays, when tennis shoes cost over a hundred bucks, Vans cost an average of $ 50. Nice! They’re starting to develop new brands such as Rowley Pro, LXVI, OTW Collection, and the Cali Collection. Their Classic styles are always popular and you can match them with almost anything in your closet. Sandals, High Tops, Low Tops, Skate, Surf, Snowboard, larger Sizes 14 to 16, you name it. The clothes aren’t too shabby either with gear that I would actually wear and I’m kinda picky when it comes to clothes that fit and look good. Recently, I checked out their website and was rather pleasantly surprised by their broad selection and overall look. It wasn’t just their shoes, clothes, and accessories but how you can also make your own custom shoes. If that’s not at least 4 stars, I don’t know what is. Don’t believe me, then check it out yourself( ).

I LOVE this Vans, not only because of the brand itself(which is always been my favorite) but because every time I go in, there is always an associate coming up to me asking if I need help. I believe they have great customer service, and also, the Manager has helped me a few times. She is so nice! She was more the willing to help me find what I was looking for.
