Monday, November 16th, spent 30 minutes waiting for the employee to take care of two customers, from 11:45 to 12:15 pm. Just wanted to buy a PS4 because Target was sold out. Unfortunately, it was lunch break and I had to go. Two transaction(one pre-order and some used games) should not take 30 minutes. If so, they should have a second person working. I’ll just wait until Target restocks tomorrow. Shame. They used to be pretty good here when I lived in the neighborhood.

I will give three stars only because of Raul, he is friendly and helpful. Sorry for the other workers, one time i returned a game that i didn’t want and the cashier said(rudely) «you want the money and run?» I was like what is this guys problem? I got out and took my money with me. So rude, these guys treat people who return items as stingy or something. Only reason i use gamestop is to try out couple games and return it.

Is a nice store and is fulfills it’s functions well enough. My biggest gripe is the inefficiency of selling games here since they’ll literally give you $ 5 for a game u bought at full price last month.

Me and my friend went to sell his PS3 and it turns out his controller was broken. She said she can’t take a broken controller and gave a bad attitude about it. If you’re going to come in to work with an attitude at least try to hide it. Most of the new staff at this Gamestop is horrible. I’ve filed a complaint to their HR. If this keeps up, less and less people will show.

Living in Cerritos, I’ve always had a preference for the Game-stop on South st, but I’d still walk in to the Towne Center one occasionally just to check it out. I’ve even made a FEW purchases from here(most of mine were at South). However an incident that happened to me two days ago confirmed that I’m not going back here again. I don’t have a 360, but my roommate in college is going to bring his. Because I’m a loyal nintendo fan, I missed out on a LOOOT of games on 360 and PS3 that I wanna catch up on before I go PS4 and WiiU. I bought a used 360 game only to go to a friend’s house and find out… well. the disc was FAKE. It was never read, it came out spinning, and it looked nothing like the other 360 discs. Now I CAN forgive this. everyone makes mistakes, right? But the reaction of the person behind the counter is what pissed me off. At South, I’m pretty sure if I told them about this incident, they would’ve been dumbstruck and actually done something about it, apologizing to me in the process. I ALWAYS strike a conversation with one of the workers there, and this definitely should’ve started one. However, the people here: 1. Didn’t apologize to me for the inconvenience 2. Didn’t really care about the problem 3. Just as I was about to leave, I saw them trying to RE-Shelve the broken game I just exchanged… Like seriously, was I talking to a freakin’ wall? That’s the story of how I drew the line with Towne Center’s Game-stop. If you live in Cerritos… Just go to the South St. Game-stop.

Not a really big store. Employees are not that much helpful and also have a attitude towards the customers.

This GameStop used to be a real haven for gamers a few years back, but since then the customer service at this location has taken a serious nosedive. I took my business elsewhere once the service and atmosphere of this store changed. I decided I’d give them a shot to earn my business and loyalty back after they’d lost two of my reservations on games. I shouldn’t have wasted my time. I had an issue with a(new) game that I purchased at a different store. «New» being classified as supposedly never used, but the box being open and battered on a store shelf for months. The store I purchased it from was farther from my home than this store(gas is a bit expensive these days), so I thought that I could come into this store and exchange it for a sealed actually NEW and IDENTICAL copy(it was intended to be a gift to someone). Wrong. They told me to go back to the old store to «address the issue.» Being a corporate entity that they are, you’d think they’d take returns and exchanges from their sister stores in other locations. Guess I was wrong about that, wasn’t I? They only deserve one star because of the speed at which the lackey on the phone was able to find me their corporate customer service number. I will be phoning them first thing Monday.

Never pre order here. They are unorganized and it takes way longer than going to best buy or some other place.

Wide selection and well informed staff — My husband and I were the only ones in store and the two employees were chatting about gaming characters you can tell that they definitely brought their work home. Only downside is they kind of hover — since we were the only ones in staff they wanted to help us every 15 seconds

This store is cool. It’s also a 3 minute walk from my work, which can be kind of dangerous… to my pocket book. This particular Gamestop employs real gamers. They know their stuff when they talk about the games because they play them. Knowledgeable staff, all the latest games, and price matching… what’s there NOT to like?

This Gamestop has done me right for many years. Excellent record when it comes to all manners of transaction: used games, new games, preorders, and most recently, price matching. The store was able to match an absolutely ridiculous discount from a Kmart ad without any problems, and even remarked as I did, «Holy crap, that’s a good deal!». You can’t go wrong with this Gamestop. I’d highly recommend it.

One of the few video game stores where I’ve been to and the staff actually knows what they’re talking about and aren’t looking over to screw over unaware customers for profit. I recommend always buying used because most games now aren’t every long to beat and you can return it for a full refund within a week. Ask for Colin, Jayson, or Bryan, they’ll take care of you.
