AMAZING! Best food ever! I’ve had this on several occasions and they even catered a corporate event for me. Everyone was raving about the food. I would definitely eat here again! 5 stars for the food and the excellent customer service!

Da Bomb … as always a total taste experience. Great Food Great people. Had them cater a Hawaiian Holiday event this past weekend. Served Three choices Plate Lunch Style…(for you Haole… thats Protein(meat), Rice, Mac Salad, and as an extra a green salad. Beef Shortrib, Kalua Pork, and Sesame Chicken were the selections. Ono Grindz… that means awesome food. Ronnie and team served over 120 Starvin Hawaiians in under and hour. I have a Tough Crew with many Auntie and Uncle that are hard Core Hawaiian food critics and the whole group was not only impressed but blown away with the quality and taste of the food. One Uncle commented that the Kauua Pig was the ONO«best» he had tasted here on the mainland. Another respected Auntie mentioned that the sesame chicken was so moist and flavorful she went back for more. Before the catering event some of us had the beef Taco and the Sisig Taco… Now I have been eating from many Trucks for many a year and have promoted a few TRUCK events myself(of course these guys are always the first call) and I must say these were the most awesome and flavorful Tacos I have eaten off of a TRUCK Hands down! So if you are looking for a great experience and some great food search out FISTOFFUSION you won’t regret it. If you are looking to cater an event this is a must call! OH. and if he has it on the MENU… and you are From Oahu or have traveled to the North Shore and experienced the Kahuku Shrimp trucks… This is the closest if not the ONLY mainland connection that I know of that knocks that experience out of the park a definite must have experience… Shrimp Garlic and Butter… AWESOME ! Thanks Ronnie and Crew for making our night just that much more special by feeding all those tired hula dancers(Halau) my Hawaiian Ohana some great authentic and super special ONOKINEGRINDZ ! OH and the Platter of North Shore Garlic Shrimp was AWESOME as always and impressed even the KUMU ! Aloha… Mahalo Nui Loa… Mike

Fist of Fusion(formerly Truck Norris) serves Hawaiian-Filipino food. At an evening that was also staffed by Haute Burger and Nonna’s Kitchenette, I will say that Fist of Fusion can put out food, fast, which is always hugely appreciated. I was seriously tempted by all their offerings but landed on the fan favorite of the evening — sesame chicken. Imagine chicken katsu with sesame in the breading, over white rice, shredded cabbage and an tasty, sweet-soy sauce. Absolutely delish!

I read the other review of this truck and I have to disagree. I tried the pork nachos, which is pulled pork, which has onions, chilis and some kind of creamy/vinegar sauce with cabbage and cheese. I was a bit hesitant because it was a bit pricey, but the portion was HUGE. The only other review(I’m surprised that there are only two reviews) seems to think that this is like«Southern American» or «Texas» barbecue. I’m fairly certain Texas focuses on beef. I’m from North Carolina, which specializes in pulled pork with vinegar sauce(really the only region in the South that does) and this is nothing like it. not sure where he got that from. I’m no expert on either Hawaiian or Filipino food(although I’ve had excellent versions of both and like both cuisines), so I can’t vouch for its authenticity, but I was satisfied with both the food and the service. If you’re looking for an «authentic» cuisine, you should probably look for neither a food truck of anything that calls itself fusion(which basically means a twist on a cuisine, i.e. not authentic). However, if you’re looking for something different, tasty and filling, Fist of Fusion is pretty good.

I saw this truck, Fist of Fusion on a Wednesday evening in Cerritos. The truck stated that it was a 2 chef one truck operation. That meaning they served two different cuisines in the same truck, Italian, and a Hawaiian/Filipino Fusion. I, not being a fan of Italian food, gravitated to the Hawaiian/Filipino Fusion portion of the menu. They offered a pork sisig dish. Now the White Rabbit Truck was also at this function but I had already tried their sisig, which I liked very much. But I am always open to new experiences so I decided to order the sisig at Fist of Fusion. Sisig is typically chopped pork, including crispy skin, chili, onion and seasoned with calamansi and vinegar. Now just because your bowl has pork, pork skin, onion, chili, citrus, and vinegar, DOESNOT mean that it is sisig. I was almost offended. This dish tasted like a Southern, Texan American had vacationed in Hawaii and discovered Kalua Pig and on another visit to the island tasted Filipino pork sisig. Then had a stroke of genius and decided to open a food truck where they could serve Hawaiian Filipino fusion dishes. They were also so unsure of their concept that they also wanted to serve reheat and eat Italian. I really can’t say that because I didn’t try any of their Italian dishes. But I dislike Italian food soo much. The sisig dish they presented was some sort of charcoal cooked pulled pork with chili and chopped onions, slathered in some sort of white creamy citrus, non-calamansi vinaigrette over rice and cabbage. Yuck, after eating a quarter of this dish I was regretting ordering this and realized I should have stuck with the guys making real sisig 3 trucks down. Either way, if you want a Southern interpretation of sisig, go ahead and try this place, but if you are really hunting for some tasty, authentic bites, KEEPWALKING, this is not the truck for you. Maybe when the two chefs decide what concept they really want to push then maybe I would try this again… for now it just a big mess.
