Cherry on Top

I liked this place and was hoping it would make it. Alas, I went today and a sign said effective August 4, 2014, the store was closed down. I don’t know what happened, but rest in peace Cherry on Top Cerritos.

This place is awesome !! went here with the family after watching a movie. They gave us a discount just for showing our movie tickets. This place has flavors other yogurts places don’t have. & there really good!
5 stars for these reasons. There staff is friendly, there location is great (for me), it’s very clean, great choice of flavors, plus the many discounts they offer, & most of all there toppings u get lots of choices. I recommend this place if u haven’t tried it.

Workers are slow and stupid… One worker told my friend and I to be careful with the machines because she’s too lazy to clean up again. Pathetic. Bad customer service and rude. Save your time and go go yogurtland, it’s way better.

As soon as I came here, I was in awe of the divider that you can use. What an awesome idea! Workers are extremely friendly and were helping me choose out flavors. One of my favorites is the hawaiian. It tastes like delicious fruit punch.

Not that many choices, but it taste good for what they have. They have a good selection of toppings and, since it’s next to a movie theater, if you bring your movie stub, you can get 5% off the yogurt. The people are nice and it’s nice and cool inside.

Came here and tried the pistachio, Hawaiian delight, and pink lemonade. They were all pretty good but especially enjoyed the Hawaiian delight. They have this cool complimentary divider so that your flavors don’t mix & they take the weight of it out. Also got 15% off with my movie ticket stub which was a plus.

Liked it. Fruit tasted a lil weird. O. o I mean it was free samples but was it necessary to have the worker serve me the free samples?. It’s not like I’m going to steal samples..

Walked in and was immediately greeted and offered free samples of all their yogurt! The cashier was friendly, funny and just all around awesome.
And in case you are wondering, the yogurt is AMAZING! Loads of flavors and combos, and tons of toppings :)

Swung by today with my wife and my two kids after going to Rubios. First time trying and have to say I am a fan. Can’t help compare it to Yogurt Land. Seems very similar except the color scheme of the place (and minus crazy lines!).
I tried Pecan Praline (eh…), cookies and cream (eh…), and Toffee (yum). The toppings were what made me give 4 stars. Good variety and most importantly had my 2 favorite toppings, chocolate chips and almonds.
Would definitely come to again and would eat here instead of yogurt land simply b/​c it is closer to my house and the lines are shorter. If you like yogurtland, you’ll like this place!

Standard self serve froyo place besides Subway in the Cerritos Towne Center Plaza. Modus operandi here is standard grab a cup load up on flavors that you want toss on toppings weigh, pay (39c an ounce) and enjoy. The employees here are super sweet and friendly. They have a huge selection of candy based toppings and fresh fruit based toppings. unfortunately all their nuts are in plastic bottles so not the most presentable way of displaying wares but I’ve found them to be fresh which is what matters.
Get their loyalty card and get a free 10 ounce cup after buying seven cups of the same weight (15% discount). You get two stamps on Monday so its almost a 25% discount. Small cup will run you between $ 3-​$ 4 and large $ 7-​$ 8 depending on how much you load up. comes with the convenience of paying with credit card even for small amounts.

This is my first time going to Cherry on top, i only found out about this because my niece had a Fundraiser there for Kennedy elementary school. I arrive in there and was automatically greeted by a tall gentleman that didn’t have no problem helping us and giving us as many samples as we wanted. Everything was great except when we got to the register to check out with our yogurt, this young lady did not look like she wanted to be there and you could not hear her, i had to ask various of times to see what she had said. When i asked she seemed like she was bothered by me asking what she had said.
Overall the yogurt was delicious!!! I went with Hawaiian Delight and added all the different fruit they had. Thanks for the recommendation to the employee that first helped me out. i was so go again for the yogurt but for the service it should be more like the gentlemen giving out samples with a smile. Please make the changes so my next visit is more enjoyable.

I recently heard that the Golden Spoon at the Cerritos Towne Center had eventually closed, but I was surprised to see that this Frozen Yogurt shop took it’s place. Maybe, the outdoor mall just needed a change of scenery, a different brand of Fro-​Yo to stir things up and get business booming.
My suggestion is to ask for a sample and the workers there are more than happy to oblige. Then, take an empty cup, fill it with a combination of 14 different flavors that your heart desires. ). As always, get your dessert TO GO, which eliminates the need to pay tax and ask for a Loyalty Card so that your 8^th treat is for FREE.
I don’t know too much about the Tarts and Cremes at Cherry on Top, but I’m utterly confident to tell you that their Sorbets are OFF THE HOOK. I’ll always be a loyal Pinkberry fan, but what they lack in Sorbets, Cherry on Top puts a whole new meaning to the statement — GOOD LOOKIN’ OUT. I suggest trying the Hawaiian Delight and Raspberry Pomegranate, while it still lasts. I believe each location switches flavors about 4 times per month.

Walked here and rewarded ourselves with this treat. Glad to have a frozen yogurt spot back in Towne Center. Service was excellent, offered samples immediately upon arrival and even dispensed it for us. Really liked the peanut butter cup flavor and will likely come back to fill up the loyalty card.

I am so in love! Was craving frozen yogurt after a movie. And saw this place! It was recommended by my sister, but I never made my way out to get some until today.
+walked in and was greeted by the two friendly workers there. They offered me to sample some flavors and I tried the Hawaiian delight??? Wow I already forgot the names of the flavors I tried –_​– It might be new or limited time. Also tried the root beer float flavor and that one was pretty amazing :)
+ending up getting 3 flavors myself; taro, pecan something, and the Hawaiian one. Can I say Nom noms?! I think this is the first froyo place that has a strong flavor/​taste. And I didn’t get that yogurt-​after taste (does anyone even get me on this one? –_​-​)
+If you like coconut and pecan… Get the pecan flavor froyo and add some coconut toppings on it. It was amazing!

Received great service from Jafet and Alyssa! Offered Samples immediately and were very friendly! I have come here at least twice already and have received the same excellent service. Speedy cashiers and great flavored yogurt. The toppings selection was pretty good. No complaints.

Received great service from Jazmine! Definitely will come back again. We were immediately greeted and offered samples. There were 14 flavors to choose from. The taro and pecan praline were delicious. Other notable choices were Hawaiian delight and root beer float. Similar to yogurtland, there were lots of toppings. The area is clean and atmosphere is friendly.
It’s not busy now, but I know it will be once people try it.

For those of you familiar with Cerritos Towne Center, this frozen yogurt shop is located where Golden Spoon used to be for many years.
This is a little place with 14 flavors and a small selection of toppings (although the ones they have are good ones). It’s very clean and the workers are very people-​friendly. It’s a self-​serve place and you pay by the weight of your cup. It’s definitely inexpensive for the amount of frozen yogurt and toppings you can cram into your cup.
The two oddball flavors I chose — root beer float and peanut butter cup — had a good taste and strong flavor. The yogurt came out firm and not at all runny (I hate it when you go to dispense frozen yogurt and liquid squirts out!).
They have around three dozen toppings to add atop your frozen yogurt. I liked that they had fun toppings like frosted animal cookies and cheesecake bites. They had a minimal fruit selection but what they had was very fresh and I think would satisfy most customers.
They have a loyalty card program if you think you’ll be a frequent visitor. I’d put this on the upper tier of self-​serve frozen yogurt shops.

It is a okay! I am use to tutti frutti flavors! Here is more like milky taste! My kids loved it though! Of, course they love anything that is cold, and have yummy toppings! Next time, I hope they will have coffee flavor too!
