Its alright. I wouldn’t quite call this a craft beer spot. They did have some stuff but not a huge selection. The good thing is that out of the tiny(like REAL small) selection they did have some good stuff. Bruery, Lost Abbey and the newly distributed 21st Amendment all there. Not a lot but enough to find something to drink that afternoon.

These guys are on point with a good selection of beers and friendly knowledgeable staff. I ended up just getting a lotto ticket, but the cashier knew exactly what I wanted and I was in and out of there in less than two minutes. For some reason, many stores I’ve been to around LA have a hard time understanding what one quick pick over 20 draws means. :p

Updating because frankly, they deserve it. Bobby is the man running the register and is in charge of ordering the beers for this place. If you’re into craft beer in the local area, he does an amazing job of keeping it very well stocked with a wide and diversified selection of beers. I believe he now has four or five coolers that are dedicated to the good stuff. Lottery winnings or another source of pride to the store, but frankly, I come here for the beer. He gets an amazing selection of Stone, Bruery, knee-deep, Lost Abbey, Port, and many other of the bigger names out here. The beers he gets from Port Brewing have a tendency to be exceptionally fresh as well. Psst… He has other stuff too that flies off the shelf at more well known bottle shops too, so after they completely run out, he might still have some around. Cheers guys! Now take my paycheck!

If you’re in or around Cerritos, this is the place to get craft beer and good liquor. Solid selection, and if you don’t see what you want… ask and he’ll most likely order it for the next week. Couldn’t be more perfect. Thanks Bobby!

AMAZING– first word that comes to mind when I think about this place. I was surprised at the vast craft beer selection they have! Especially since it’s located in Cerritos. The younger guy behind the counter(sadly, I forget his name) always recommends the BEST beer! I’ve had the most delicious beers here. They carried R & R w00tstout, my favorite! The prices are a tad bit high but I guess you get what you pay for,(craft beer aint cheap) which in this case, is nothing but DELICIOUS craft beer. I adore this liquor store.

Ah Cerritos Liquor. Pretty much a landmark. If you’ve lived in Cerritos for any extended amount of time, chances are, you’ve visited. I’ve been a patron here my whole life. Bought that weird Orbit drink religiously when it was around… tried buying cigarettes when I was under 18. the whole bit. Great thing is that they stay open late, they have a really nice selection of beer, Bobby(behind the counter) is really cool. I always stop by here for a beer run before any family BBQ Bad thing is that sometimes their candies/chocolates are stale as hell. Haha

At a glance, this is just a typical liquor store on the street corner, but don’t be so easily fooled. There is one thing that sets this business apart from all the other businesses of Cerritos and its immediate vicinity — the beer selection. The fridges in the back are stocked with a HUGE selection of craft brews. I’ve never counted, but there’s got to be at least 40 different kinds, all along the back of the store. In addition, they also have all the typical Coors, Bud Light, etc. It’s almost like a secret that this place carries these fine drinks — you would never be the wiser unless you walk deep into the store or hear about it from someone else who knows. Now if they could just lower their prices. Note: they accept credit card but you must spend at least X dollars, can’t remember how much.

Cerritos Liquor is one of the staple places i frequent on a weekly basis. Owned and operated by Bobby and his family, the Cerritos Market and Liquor offers a huge selection of alcoholic and non alcoholic beverages, not to mention a candy aisle that stretches the length the the store. No joke, THEYHAVETHEBESTCANDYSELECTION for a liquor store in cerritos. I usually go and grab my usual: mr good bar and a couple sour power candy strips. They have a wall to wall liquor selection in case you are wanting a rare german beer or a flask of Hennessy at 12 noon, while the prices are a little higher than the supermarkets, they make up for it in the selection and in the varying sizes they offer.(A small shot of Hennessy Privledge is only $ 2.00!!) The establishment is constantly alive and kicking, from construction workers grabbing a cerveza, people playing their lottery tickets, to local kids grabbing a ice tea and ice cream. Bobby is usually there from the mid afternoon to night time, but sometimes his grumpy father is behind the register eyeing your every move. HOwever on the other hand Bobby is extremely helpful pointing to goods in the store that you inquire about or grabbing the softest swisher. This one time i grabbed a bunch of food and snacks and forgot my wallet, and Bobby said it was cool and to bring it back next time i came!!! :) What store do you know of that does IOUs? im sure he only does these favors to regular patrons, but it definitely secured him the 5 stars for an excellent establishment with excellent service and competitive prices.
