Abercrombie Kids

I gave 3 stars that said the manager Navy is difficult to distinguish between a bratty shopper or just a rude employee on a power trip. I didn’t get the memo about how grateful I should be to shop there and how much inconvenience it would be if she actually had to be nice. She asked my daughters age and then pulled out the clothes she felt my daughter needed and then began to give me a lecture on jean size she hadn’t even seen my daughter better yet hadn’t met her. I hate going into that store but it’s one of the only stores near me that my child will wear their pants. Plus side they do have some good deals on the normally overpriced sweat shop clothes, yes I said it! It also always smells nice, so good deals and bad attitudes it’s like paying sales tax goes with the territory

Abercrombie has nice clothes, but I mean $ 30 for a t-​shirt!!! I just think the prices should drop down…

This is where I bring my eleven year old Daughter and eight year old niece for tees. I never shop full price anywhere and this place has a decent clearance section. I’ve been coming here for a couple of years now.
Recently, I came here and the guest service was on point. It wasn’t until I got to the checkout counter that things just became very annoying. I selected a couple of tees for my daughter and niece. My intentions were to pay together and get two separate shopping bags for my daughter and niece. The cashier tells me,” I’m sorry but unfortunately we didn’t order enough bags to give you two.” Really? I responded,” That’s poor management on behalf of your store. What are guests supposed to do if you run out of bags?” No response.
I requested to have my daughter’s and niece’s items rang separately to obtain two separate bags. After ringing the second purchase she still asks me the stupidest question,” Do you mind if I bag everything inside of one bag?” I replied,” Of course. I need two bags. I paid separately. Give me two bags.“
Having worked retail before. I understand the policies regarding not giving people empty shopping bags without purchases. There’s a belief that giving them an empty shopping bag will allow them to shoplift. In my case. It was just stupid.
Still give them four stars for service, selection and value for my money.

So I use to work here, but not anymore. I’m not going to rant about how much we got paid here, etc. I’m going to tell you about the store overall. Basically it’s like a Abercrombie & Fitch store for smaller people. Sometimes, just SOMETIMES if your an adult you can possibly squeeze into a kids XL, or like I’ve seen some women do, they wear the boys clothes…
Sometimes it gets a little crazy in here, with all the clearance stuff thrown on the floor, and littering the third room. But that only happens when the store in a hyper active mode. AKA Christmas time.
I personally don’t have kids, but I’m probably never going to buy them stuff from here. It’s just messy and freakishly weird.
