Chinese guys gets bossed around by cops and white dudes last time seems like whites only kind of place!

This place is a staple in Ceres. The food is incredible, ingredients are always so fresh. Literally the best sandwich I have ever had! The service is top notch as well. Definitely a 5 star place.

First time here for lunch visiting the parents. I’m a Ceres native and I finally had a roast beef on sourdough sandwich from there. Unfortunately, I now live in the bay area. I regret not coming here while I still lived in ceres.

Rude lady, cheap on their salad portions, go across the street to subway. wont ever eat there again.

The owner is a very nice and friendly lady! I got my sandwich and i like it a lit! The place is very clean and everything is fresh.

Way over pricing just another regular sandwhich… I went there based on the reviews… the bread hurt my jaw it was so hard to chew its no way better than subway at all and everything was average didn’t even taste good. I would never go back there to buy more by the way I bought a roast beef sandwich not impressed at all… sometimes being fast is a good thing but in this case her fast was way too fast like she didn’t even think about what I wanted she just threw it in there!

i was pleasantly surprised. i was in and out quickly and got exactly what i wanted. im not the person to stand there and go «uummm well i want uuuhhh light mayo only on one side and thinly sliced ham…» no. great price and great quality of meat and cheese and bread. way above subway. (do you really know what subways food is made of?!?) ive worked in three different delis in the last 6 years and know the difference. my only complaint was the lettuce, but i really cant even complain because im not a lettuce person anyway. and they have pitchers of beer! ill for sure come back!

The food was good but the building was a little run down and the service was even sadder. We ordered the hot pastrami, which was tasty and filling. The food was fresh and the portion of meat was generous.

The woman working acted like we were putting her out by helping us. She greeted us with, «what do you want». One of our cups had a giant hole in it and she just handed us a cup and walked away leaving us to clean up the mess. She started putting mayo and mustard on the sandwiches before asking us if we wanted any. Overall, the sandwiches were the equivalent of subway an the woman who worked there was horribly rude. I will never go back

I went here today for the first time, even though I’ve worked nearby for over a year now. I was up for a deli sandwich and was getting a little tired of the old Subway/​Quiznos standby.
The sandwich was a little more pricy than say Subway, but the quality of the food was wonderful. The bread was fresh and the meat and fixings good quality.
So why not 5 stars? What I hope is a temporary thing is that their central A/​C is currently down. They are using about 4 portable room a/c’s and given that room has got to be close to 1000 s.f. all the thermostats were holding at 88 – 90 degrees. Today the outdoor temperature was pushing 100 degrees, so until they get their a/​c fixed don’t expect too much shelter from the heat eating here.
Unfortunately my appitite is affected by heat, so I probably won’t eat here again until the a/​c is fixed, then I can try a couple more sandwiches and get this rating up to 5 stars.

Always have liked this place. My favorites are the corned beef and the California special. The bread is great, it really makes the sandwich. They also have a pretty good lunch special for 5.99 (mini-​sandwich, side, and drink). Really much better then Subway or Quiznos.

Came here with my brother while I was up here visiting my folks who live in the area.
While not the best Sandwich I have ever had it was edible and fairly decent. It beats out Subway and Quizno’s at the very least, however, there are a handful of deli’s I am aware of that would blow this place out of the water.
But, like I said it is the best I have found in this area thus far. They have an excellent selection and also have ice cream and salads as well.
Overall, this is a good place to go for a deli sandwich. While not the best it does when in a pinch.

I used to work near this place and loved going here for lunch. The subs are great and I love their milkshakes too. :D Eating out every day isn’t exactly in my budget, so prices are about the only con I can give this place. Oh, and the inside is like any other sand which shop really, not really warm and inviting but not horrible either.

This guy has the best roast beef sandwich that I’ve encountered in this area. Great flavor, the bread is just right (not too hard nor soft, is not over sourdough-​y). I wish he was more generous with meat but he uses only the highest quality of stuff so I can forgive. It can be expensive (roughly $ 10 for the big sub???) so don’t expect Subway prices I guess. I wouldn’t advise going here near closing as the guy is in «get the hell out» mode — going during the daytime if you can. The other stuff is good too but nothing hits the bread basket like the roast beef.

Great place for lunch! Friendly staff, I go there enough that they know my order. Try the chili, it’s really good. The sandwiches are awesome, and priced just right!
