Specialties
Here at Musically Green Studios, our mission is to teach students how to love and appreciate music of all kinds, including classical, jazz, pop, and more. We specialize in high quality piano and violin lessons for a variety of students.
MGS emphasizes building a proper musical foundation right from the first lesson in order to help students become the finest musicians they can be. Ms. Amber Pena, utilizes several methods to teach music which include Suzuki, traditional methods, and the Kodaly Method. Music theory, rhythm, note reading, and singing are all thoroughly covered, and both musical techniques and musical expression are taught from the beginning. In addition, good practicing habits are developed and enforced early on so that students can grow with the music that they learn and love to play. Students will be taught to count and clap rhythms, express dynamics, create musical sounds that speak through the piano and let their violins sing. My goal is to pass on the gift of music and have students wholeheartedly love and appreciate music.
Our goal is to make music as fun and exciting for everyone as possible!
History
Established in 2009.
Musically Green Studios officially opened as a mobile music school in August of 2009 when Ms. Amber Pena decided to pursue a career in music after becoming certified to teach Suzuki violin. From that point on, Musically Green Studios has grown exponentially based on its belief that a solid music foundation is the basis of a good education. MGS has instructed over a hundred students since its opening, and now has locations in Salida, Modesto, and Ceres, CA. Students from all walks of life with very different goals for the piano and violin have found their perfect instructor through Musically Green Studios. Students perform in school, local venues, and participate in local youth orchestras.
