Wheatfield Nursery is proud to offer one of the largest selections of nursery stock in Central Pennsylvania to both wholesale and retail customers. Plant material ranges from shrubs and perennials to B&B and containerized trees. We also stock various hard goods such as mulch, top soil, and colorful garden containers. In addition, Wheatfield Nursery offers landscape design consultations and has a Pennsylvania Certified Horticulturalist on staff. Contact us for a complete inventory!

History

Established in 2007.

Plant production started quite small by first growing deciduous trees for Scott’s Landscaping, Inc’s use in 2004. This operation provided Scott’s Landscaping, Inc. with a small selection of high quality trees to use for landscape installation projects and client sales.

Wheatfield Nursery was officially founded in 2007. This enterprise has brought an availability of common and specimen trees, shrubs, grasses and perennials to our region. The nursery is run by our head nurseryman who came to Scott’s with over thirty years of experience. There are also several production assistants that help manage over 400 varieties of plants.

We serve not only the needs of Scott’s Landscaping, but also local landscapers and homeowners. Landscape companies can purchase material at wholesale price and homeowners have the availability to browse our huge selection of retail plants. Wheatfield Nursery moved into our current location along Rt. 322 and opened for retail business in 2010.

Business Owner

Scott officially founded Wheatfield Nursery in 2007 with the help of his wife Kimberly. He serves as the CEO/​President and oversees day-​to-​day operations, future planning and growth. Scott graduated from Pennsylvania State University with a B.S. in Landscape Contracting. He is a Certified Landscape Professional, Certified Landscape Technician, certified installer with Interlocking Concrete Pavement Institute and Certified Pesticide Applicator.
