CCC Feeds And Farm Supplies

I came here to buy wood pellets to use as litter. I was looking for aspen specifically and wandered the store for 10 min without being offered any help by the two employees at the register, which was a little disappointing. When I asked one employee, he had to consult the other one, who said they only offered pine pellets and they were right outside the front of the store.
I went to take a look and came back to the register to pay. Afterwards, I was asked if I needed help loading it into my car.
My mediocre rating mainly reflects the lackluster customer service. I wasn’t greeted or even acknowledged when I walked in the store, and both times I approached the register, neither employee so much as looked up from their work (which wasn’t personal and did seem store-​related). I had to start my sentence off with «excuse me» before either of them would even look up.
I do also appreciate that they carry hard-​to-​find products like raw milk, duck eggs, and angora yarn all sourced from local producers. And the pine pellets were definitely the cheapest option that I’ve seen at $ 7.07 (including tax) for 95 cu ft /​40 lb bag. But I could tell some of their pet products (I was in the small animals section for my rabbit) were more limited and pricier than a chain pet store, so this store wouldn’t be a one-​stop shop for me.

I love that this place is in manchester. I am grateful to have a collection of local products that I didn’t have to run out to Coventry for. Raw milk, salt, yogurt and produce. Really friendly staff which is appreciated.

I love how friendly the folks are. I really appreciate the local produce, meats, and dairy offered. There are also hand made gifts which is a delight! I hope they develop the store a bit more.

Great local produce. They dont have everything all the time, but we must support our local farmers, or we will all be eating GMO pesticide antibiotic hormone crap! The raw milk is fantastic!

I stopped by CCC yesterday for the very first time, after receiving a call from a friend telling me there were alpacas waving to traffic outside of the store. I arrived within minutes of the call.
Much to my delight, there were alpacas, pigs, goats, and the prettiest little cow I have ever seen, wearing a large pink bow. The folks from Aussakita Acres Alpaca Farm told us all about the alpacas and pigs, and the rest of the animals on their farm. I learned that you can tell where an alpaca is from by its top knot, and that duck eggs (which are sold at CCC) are much better for baking because they have a higher fat content and make baked goods rise higher than chicken eggs. It was wonderful chatting with them and getting some hands on time with the fluffy five month old baby alpaca, Panache.
When I was finally able to tear myself away from the animals, I stopped into the store and sampled some Cupola Hollow Farm pumpkin fudge, which was amazingly creamy, and made locally with only a handful of ingredients. I picked up a half pound container for only $ 6.50. I then found the Aussatika section and scored a pair of dark brown alpaca gloves for $ 20, which I thought was a stellar price for a high quality local product.
There were many, many other local products that I will surely be back for now that I know what a wonderful place CCC truly is. I know their main gig is feed, but don’t let that fool you. This is a terrific place for locavores looking for gifts, or who just need some new alpaca gloves and duck eggs for baking.

Patronized this store due to being advertised as a local grown «farm market». Boy, was I disappointed. They literally had like 2 cucumbers and a handful of sad looking tomatoes. I would have given it one star, but I can’t speak for the feeds and farm supply end of this business.
