They do a nice job on the stuff I take to them. The are great with fixing zippers, replacing buttons or altering stuff when needed. They do a pretty speedy job too if needed.

Typical laundry spot not to good not to bad. Usually leave my cloths for them to wash and it’s cheap and it’s an easier way for me to do my laundry. They fold everything and I can pick it up in the afternoon or the next day.

So I got this awesome, form fitting pencil dress for an event this summer. My first thought upon seeing myself in it was ‘Hot d***! I look like a pinup!’ Except it was ridiculously loose up top and around my waist. I had read other reviews about this place and since it was close to work, I went to get it altered. I put the dress on and the top part began slouching(i had to hold the bra part up eventually) because of how loose it was. The lady just pulled straight back while it was slouching and said ‘It’s too tight on the bottom, that’s what’s causing the wrinkles in your waist.’ I said ‘It’s slouching because it’s too loose and I have a short waist, hence why I’m here,’ trying to write it off. She proceeded to say ‘No, you need more room below so I can take it in all at once. There is no room at all, it’s too tight.’ I said, getting irritated, ‘It’s fine and perfect everywhere except the waist up. I have a short waist and small front.’ Then she tugged a little more and said ‘It’s too long, too much material.’ I asked what was too long and she pointed to the whole waist area. She said ‘It’s all wrinkled here, see? It needs to be like this.’ She then pulled down on the skirt of the dress so the waist was now on top/around my hips and then she pulled up on the bra part so the underwire was at least an inch higher than normal and said ‘should be like this, it’s too small.‘ I said, very irritated at this point, ‘The waist is too long, there is too much material, but you can’t work on it because the skirt is too tight? It’s a pencil skirt! You have the waist just below the top part of my hips, the underwire is too high, and you’re saying you can’t do anything because I need a bigger size?’ She said ‘Yes, you need more room, would be helpful if you were smaller or dress was bigger.’ I said ‘I’ts a pencil skirt! I was falling out of the 8.’ She had the audacity to say ‘You’re not a 6, you need a bigger size so I can take everything in at once.’ I said that would mean it would just double the problem up top, I was not an 8, at which point she smiled and shook her head and said ‘No, you really should’ve gotten the next size, you’re not a 6. I can’t do anything.‘ Most unfortunately I had another dress that needed altering asap and didn’t have time to find someone else, so I tried on that one and said the same thing — the top was too big. It was an A-Line and she said ‘See, I can work with this because the skirt is better, everything can get taken in all at once. But instead, how about we just move the straps up.’ she pinched the straps so the were too tight around my arms and the chest was still loose. I said, ‘No, that’s too tight and the chest is too loose and doesn’t feel right.’ She said ‘Really? I think it’s fine, you really want the back just taken in?’ I said ‘Yes, I like the length and straps as they are, the back is the only issue.’ At which point she shook her head and said ‘Well if you’re sure I guess we can do that.‘ I will never, ever be using them again. 08÷23÷13 — Got back the dress from another cleaners and it is fabulous. They did an amazing job when Towne said it was impossible. Turned out to be a simple fix too.
