History

Established in 1939.

In 1939 our founder, Nathan Kaufman, began selling redwood fencing at our Central Islip showroom. Shortly afterwards, he began designing patio furniture made out of that same great wood. By paying attention to the smallest details, he delivered a product of outstanding quality. Combined with our great service, he developed a following that had people all over Long Island driving to our «out-​of-​the-​way showroom» for the finest redwood furniture in America. It is commonplace for our sales people to hear from returning customers that they have had our redwood furniture for 20, 30, 40, and even 50 years!
