I first used Bob’s services at my rental home after finding him online several years ago. We had a hot water system which was connected to an old oil-​fired boiler, a converted coal burner, and the hot water system failed. Bob gave us a few options, and we hired him to bypass the existing hot water system and install a gas water heater. He didn’t push us to replace the old boiler just so he could make more money. I’ve been using Bob for plumbing and heating jobs, big and small, ever since. He’s honest, prompt & dependable, and he and his nephew do great work. He’s helped me through more than one plumbing emergency, always there when we need him! He’s the only plumber that I’ll call whenever there’s a need for plumbing or heating services at my rental units, my own home, and my mother’s home. I highly recommend him.

I called this company because of the solid reviews it had received on this site to do a days worth of projects around my home. Bob came by one evening to look at the work and we carefully reviewed each task. He called me the following morning to discuss his quote and we agreed on a price and a day to do the work. He never showed on the day he committed to do the work and has not responded to several follow up calls I’ve made to inquire if there was an issue or misunderstanding. Call at your own risk.

I just called this company because I had water leaking in various places throughout my house, which was very stressful. He came over and stopped the water from leaking. He was very helpful in explaining what caused the leak and next steps we should take in fixing the bigger problem. Not a company trying to make a quick buck. He guided us in the right direction. Very trust worthy man. I would defiantly call this company again.

Excellent service from an honest, hardworking, friendly guy. Highly recommend if you need a plumber you can trust who won’t overcharge or sell you something you don’t need.

I found Bob Martel Plumbing online… And I thank my lucky stars they are great, they saved my day when I couldn’t get another plumber to come out as it was a small job bob had his nephew here within a few hours and they didn’t break my bank. And as I sit here today Sunday «St. Patricks Day» he’s here again yet another small job but they are here anyway. I have dealt with many contractors for plumbing, roofing etc as my home is a three family and I would recommend Bob Martel Plumbing to anyone out there who wants professional honest people to work in their homes or businesses.

I have used Bob Martel Plumbing & Heating service twice. The first time, I needed a vanity installed. Ray came out right away, and got the job done, despite the fact that it was just a small job. He came out a second time for an emergency bathroom issue I discovered while tiling. I’m having them come out again for some plumbing odds and ends. Their advertisement «no job is too small,» is true. Though I’m hoping it won’t be necessary, I’ll use them for my large issues, too. Getting a quick and customer-​service oriented response took some of the stress out of these potentially tricky situations.
