We are experts in mold inspection, mold testing and mold removal. A mold inspection will generally be more affordable, more reliable, and more informative than mold testing by itself. If there is a mold problem, the objective is to physically remove the mold not «kill» it. Mold exposure is a chemical exposure. Trying to kill the mold does not lesson the health risk. Bad mold removal can be worse than no mold removal. If you believe you may have a mold problem, the first step is a mold inspection. A mold inspection can help you learn: if there is mold or likely to be mold, what source or conditions lead to the damage, if any materials are currently damp, if any repairs need to be made to prevent future damage, what materials are affected, what the removal and cleaning should consist of, recommended steps for the removal and cleaning, and an approximate cost for the removal.
