We needed a stubborn nose piercing removed/swapped out which seemed impossible for us to do without drawing tears and screams. Cassy came out and welcomed us at the door, asked what we needed, and had us follow her to the back. Before we knew it, the nose ring was out and the new one was in — amazing! She was very quick and accommodating, while being conversational. I will absolutely be returning here, thank you so much!!!

If I could give this place zero stars I would. For starters, some intuition of mine prevented me from getting a tattoo from here, with good reason. However, my friend still ended up getting a tattoo done. A simple stencil, no big deal for most tattoo artists. Once Diana was done with her tattoo, she wanted to immediately bandage it. When the bandage was removed at home, we noticed that the wording underneath the stencil(that was perfectly transferred onto her body) was not only misspelled, but she attempted to go over it and it just looked awful. When we went back to the shop and showed it to both her and Rob, they advised to «pick at it» and it should«go away». The fact that she paid $ 140 for a tattoo that she has to get covered up anyway is a complete atrocity. I could NEVER recommend this place to anyone.

Cliffs is awesome. Went there for 3 of my tattoos. One was a real detailed punisher skull with flames I didn’t even bring in a photo. He drew up a sick picture and it came out awesome. They also have really good prices. They also have sick deals for Black Friday with half price tattoos and they double the price of certificates. My girlfriend also gets her tattoos there and one of hers took 6 hours and the artist stayed there 2 hours passed closing time to finish her tattoo which came out awesome. Overall best tattoo place I’ve been to and I’ve gotten tattoos from 4 different places over the years and I will never go to another place again.

Went in there and got what I needed to get done. My tattoo came out solid. Some lines are a little off. The artist was decent but a bit crude with his jokes. My girlfriend; however, got a piercing and tattoo and it went smoothly. The place is decorated nicely. The atmosphere feels like how a tattoo parlour should.

Went in there and got what I needed to get done. My tattoo came out OK but not amazing. Some lines are a little off. The artist was decent but a bit crude with his jokes. My girlfriend; however, got a piercing and tattoo and it went smoothly. The place is decorated nicely. The atmosphere feels like how a tattoo parlour should. Save your money and find a more reputable place. It’ll probably cost around the same anyway.

I was here over the summer. I met Rob & Cliff. I was met w courtesy & professionalism & got a history on the shop as well as what kind of ink they use vs the industry itself. I was impressed & enjoyed my time there as well as the tattoo j received. I have a several tatts & will be returning in the spring.

Planned on getting my whole back done there. Got the top done by blake. Great job. But he disappeared off the face of the earth for the rest. Kept calling to make an appointment. And they refused to make an appointment over the phone. Finally went in as a walk-in. Got a huge FULLBACKPIECE cross and after 4 hours of excurtionary pain he finished about an hour of any other artists work with jacked up lines and the cross was crooked. I dont know the guys name but he had a butterfly tattoo on his forehead. Goes without saying NOTGOINGBACKTHERE. and they make it seem like you interupted them when you walk in. When i first walked in they acutally said«what.» Instead of «may i help you».

I love Cliff’s!!! I have been going there probably since 2009. Robbie’s the best! for the past two years I’ve been living in CT since 7/2012…I got a tiny singular item w/name. The«Artist» did free hand, no machines copiers nothing! Charged me $ 75 for it WRIPOFF&1 yr. later 8⁄2013 its faded an ALL black tatt &his wonderful Pink Script Unreadable! I still have this 4 now! THEREFORE, when was ready 4 memento piece; I went BACK2 Long Island 2 Cliffs 4 Robbie. Don’t take appts. but I told them I was coming from out of state & they gave me the times he was working w/let him know we both had flexibilities. All tattoo artist and piercers have a wealth of experience. Just BC they R scheduled 2 work«11 — 5» they’re not going 2 leave/rush job. Will stay Xtra hrs. SOTIPS R appreciated 4 phen. work & won’t B disappointed. If ODD reason issue its resolved, fixed & handled. I’m telling U since 2009. I’ve known 100’s of people who go in that place almost quarterly &NOPROB! there is If you’re going there & U have a pic. on ur phone/PC U need 2 print it out! There not a «print shop» won’t do! Have some«Rules» ex: In finger/hand tatts meaning: «Thug Gangsta Like»… So plz read list B4 asking! Stupid Is As Stupid Does! Also if UR no who you say U R– not get tattooed they will know! Take CASH& Credit… BUT I BELIEVENOTHINGLIKECOLDHARDCASH!

I came here about 3 years ago to get my nose pierced. The place was neat and clean. I came in without an appointment. I think Brittney was the one who did my piercing and she did a really good job. After two weeks of having the piercing, it came out while i was wiping my face with a towel. So I rushed back in fear of having the piercing closed. However, Brittney was not there, so another guy(I don’t remember his name) helped me, and put it back in. He was really nice about it and didn’t charge me. I would totally come back for another piercing. I definitely recommend this place if you are looking for a clean and safe Tattoo/Piercing environment.

Looking at most Unilocal reviews I get the idea that people only post when they’re really enthused about a place or really pissed off, as there are only two reviews on Cliff;s and they’ve been around some time and are never empty I get the idea they must have a lot of satisfied customers. When it comes to Cliff’s though I’m definitely really enthused, both me and wife have been tattooed here and would not hesitate to recommend to friends. From the moment you walk into this shop that is decorated like a tat shop should to the moment I got my ink wrapped and aftercare instructions I had nothing but a positive experience. Greeted promptly and asked if I need help the moment I walked in, plenty of flash literally all over the walls, shop is extremely clean, well lit and welcoming. Had an idea, spoke with Blake McKnight and set up an appointment. Day of the appointment came and he was waiting for me at set time, took my idea drew it up, tweaked it a bit to what he thought would work best and we got the ball rolling. Very organized, good people skills, with amazing attention to detail, and maintain clean technique from start to finish. BTW did I mention skills, he has them in spades, great eye for art and what works, did not rush the job and turned out a flawless finished product. Overall would go back or recommend to friends without hesitation

I was recently at Cliffs with a few friends for tattooing. My friend went first and I went immediately after. Heather was our«artist» if thats what you want to call her. I was so excited to go I didn’t even look at my friends tattoo close up, it looked great from far away! My tattoo was a small star it literally took 2 minutes, It was awful, the lines were not straight and the points were all different sizes. She didnt charge me, yea thanks! I would rather have paid for a nice tattoo. After we left he noticed a bunch of details wrong with his as well and again his was a SIMPLETATTOO!

Cliffs is actually two separate buildings, one does tattoos and one does piercings. I have had the pleasure of being in both and both were positive experiences. I got my first tattoo here a few years ago and from what I remember the artist was very nice and the tattoo still looks great. I also got a piercing here about a year ago and it was a female piercer, which i thought was cool. She was extremely friendly and put me at ease throughout the process. I don’t really recall prices, but with piercings and tattoos it is better to go to a quality place then to try to get a good deal. This is one area in which you don’t want to be cheap.
