History

Established in 1999.

The Joint is a rapidly growing franchise whose story first began in 1999. Back then The Joint set out to promote and deliver the health benefits of routine chiropractic care because at the time, a rapidly changing chiropractic industry left providers searching for an alternate means to meeting the needs of patients in an otherwise conventional healthcare structure. On a mission to meet the needs of both patient and chiropractor, The Joint set out to transform the traditional and often misunderstood practice of chiropractic care into a strong, simple and valuable business.

Meet the Manager

Dr. Daniel C.

Manager

Graduated Chiropractic School in December 1982. Practiced in Atlanta Georgia in a Family Chiropractic Clinic from January 1982-​June 1987. Opened an independent Clinic in July, 1987-​December 1992, in Roswell, Georgia. Moved to Savannah, Georgia in 1992 to open a new Clinic. Left in 1994 due to wifes’ health isssues. Practiced in Atlanta until September, 2010 when, after receiving an invite to practice in Denver (Centennial Co), moved to Littleton Colorado to join said practice. Have been practicing in this area since then.

Like outdoor activities, hiking, hunting (bow and gun), fishing-​all kinds: predominantly bait-​casting, spimnning rod and fly rod. Played multiple sports through high school (baseball, football and wrestling), played college basketball (SMALL school). Practiced and taught Kung Fu for 25 years.

Speaks Spanish well, with a comparable minor in Italian.

Dr Dan is a miracle worker! My mom had shoulder pain for almost three week before I convinced her to see a chiropractor and he made it disappear with ONE session! And he really takes the time to make sure you get better two: we got there at the end of the day and he stayed ate so he can help with my moms pain, he’s a truly amazing chiropractor!

Dr. Dan is a talented and gifted chiropractor. I am so glad I walked in to the Joint. Dr. Dan helps me with headaches and limited mobility of my neck. I like being able to walk in and get help immediately.

If I could leave a Zero or «negative» stars for this business, I would.
I went into the Joint the day before a very important trip and since I would be sitting on planes and in rental cars, I thought it would be a good idea to make sure my back was in proper alignment. I was headed for a very important men’s retreat that involved physical activity at a pretty high level.
Stopping into the Joint was the worst mistake I’ve ever made when it comes to Bodywork and/​or chiropractic.
Dr. Dan was a nice enough guy and like me he’s from the East Coast so I thought comfortable talking with him. But after he abruptly and intensely cracked me with a lot of force and certainly beyond what I had expected at all, I left there and within an hour was barely able to walk.
I had to make an expensive emergency appointment with a highly qualified Bodywork expert because if I have left the next day on Sunday without fixing my horribly maladjusted L5 I would have wasted the money I spent on the entire retreat and probably canceled the whole trip.
My vertebra was so far out of whack due to the wrenching I received that it was immediately visible to the myofascial bodywork er as soon as I hit the table.
Worst of all — and this is inexcusable — when I called the next week to report what happened. I spoke with both the receptionist and also left a message on the answering machine in some detail, and literally never received a call back!
This is the most awful miserable service I have ever experienced.

Dr. Dan is a good man. He works very hard to help people in pain. He did a full work up with my xrays and exam then adjusted me. I bought the month to month of only $ 59. For 4 visits per mo. Great deal. If you need regular adjustments hes great. Dont expect hot rocks, hot packs, electric chair or table massage or sensory therapy. But for regular adjustments its perfect. Simple problems are easy. But hes trying hard to fix me. Im a mess. And as a human, hes a good person to do business with. Id recommend the joint. It was recomended to me.

Dr. Dan is a magician with this. I came in presenting your basic MS symptoms. Unable to jog a full mile, sleeping 10+ hours, with a migraine that had lasted over two decades, and exhausted all the time. I am now running better than I did as a teen, sleeping less than 8, no headache, energy, and my concentration is back to what I remember. He told me exactly what the problem was, exactly what he needed to do, and then did it. He did courteously, professionally, and efficiently.

Dr Dan is great, thorough, and knowledgeable. Yes, this is a stop-​in kinda place which makes it super convenient for a quick adjustment. He takes the time he needs, keeping the prices down. I even have insurance that covers chiropractic services, but because of the convenience of this little store the additional cost of each appt outweighs a co-​pay and having to make an appointment each time, plus the drive to Kaiser’s facility over 20 miles away.
Dr Dan does what he needs to do to take care of his patients. Yes, he does use body weight to get into tougher locations, as some things are deep tissue issues, and he doesn’t guarantee that only 1 visit will solve the problem you might have. I don’t think any back issues will ever involved just one appointment and you can expect to be instantly healed. Typically back issues are created over long term, which then requires several appointments to get it corrected.
I have never received anything more than respect from Dr Dan and will continue to make visits to his practice. I even love how he brings glory to God when it’s due.

What a terrible experience! You definitely get what you pay for; this is like the fast food of chiropracty. The man working on me smelled horribly of body odor, and talked super fast, which made it hard for me to get a word in edgewise. He made adjustments very fast and hard, and often accidentally adjusted the wrong spot, having misinterpreted the location of pain I had indicated.
Worst of all, HE LAID ON TOP OF ME to use his weight while twisting my body to do an adjustment, which shoved my face in the crook of his neck. When I protested, he said «Just roll with it.» Ew! Very uncomfortable and probably not standard protocol.
After all this, he claimed he’d just given me «a $ 200 adjustment,» and yet it didn’t solve my problem at all; in fact it feels a bit worse. No wonder there were no other patients there! I definitely won’t be back.
