I work with clients (consulting with individuals, or mediation with both parties) who are going through divorce, or have a post-​decree financial issue, and need help in getting it resolved. I also prepare QDROs for dividing retirement plans.

My focus is on helping with financial issues, including maintenance, child support, division of assets, tax implications, separate property tracing, life style analysis, and division of retirement plans.

As a divorce mediator, in addition to helping people make decisions about financial issues, I also help with parenting plans.

I used specialized divorce software to help people organize their financial information so that they can make better decisions.

History

Established in 2003.

When I was going through my own divorce, our mediator said that I should be a «divorce planner» because she thought I was very good with the financials of the divorce. I studied and took the exams for the Certified Divorce Financial Analysis qualification, and once I passed the exams, starting working with clients. Not long afterwards (and continuously since then, I took training in mediation and other aspects of family law, including QDROs, and have not looked back.
