Great open space to get out and enjoy nature. I love the trail system in the Denver metro area. I try to get out an discover different paths for variety. I drive by this area a quite a bit and never gave it much thought. There is a nice sized parking lot at this tail Head located next to Tagawa Gardens. If you are coming from Parker Rd it’s best to pull into the Tagawa Gardens lot and drive to the back to reach the parking lot here otherwise you will have to u-turn on Broncos Pkwy. There are covered picnic tables and a porta potty next to the lot. They are a few large maps showing the trails. The Cherry Creek path runs through this open space making it a convenient spot to park & bike for the day. What I especially like about this open space is there is a path off the main CC Trail that loops around that is a couple of miles. This is a nice dirt path great for running and there are signs stating 2 loops equal a 5k. If running isn’t your thing it’s a great walk through the trees and along Cherry Creek. There are some sitting areas along this part of trail. There’s even a small Tranquility Trail to recharge. This is a perfect little trail for families. The whole area is clean & has some neat features that blend in well with the natural environment.
