K&H Nails

4 ½ stars for this place! I came in yesterday because my normal salon was closed due to the weather. I was the only customer there but there were a ton of pedicure chairs and lots of nail stations. The gel/​shellac selection was AMAZING! Probably close to 100 colors. My nail tech was nice and diligent. Couldn’t give this place 5 stars because it’s a tad more expensive than I would like it to be but overall, I’ll be back when I can spend a couple more dollars!

My friend and I went in to get our nails done and I was a bit apprehensive because I had never heard of K&H before. I have been going to AV’s for years, mostly because of their prices, but they were really busy on a Saturday (go figure!) and we didn’t have time to wait at the salon. So, we decided to go to K&H since it was right across the street and there wasn’t any wait. All the girls were very friendly and answered every question we had nicely. I don’t know the name of the tech that did my nails, but I’ve had them on for almost a week now and they still look like I got them done yesterday. She did an amazing job. Lily did my friend’s nails and she was wonderful! She made conversation with us the whole time and is very knowledgable. She clearly cared about her work. The salon itself is incredibly clean and organized. The prices are similar to AV’s, and although I went to AV’s for years, I never felt as invited as I did at K&H during my very first visit. I will definitely be returning!

I have been a regular since they opened last year. The latest person who shared a review, I was present for her visit. She was super rude and disrespectful with her requests and yet Khan (owner)and Lily did there very best to accommodate her. I for one was glad that she decided to leave the salon as I’m sure the other patrons where as well. No one has the right to behave the way that she did. Tiffany is awesome! Thanks ladies!

Very stylish salon. Great choice of polish and clean facility. The techs did a very good job on my mani/​pedi and the outcome was just what I wanted. However, neither tech ever spoke to me. I realize this may have been due to a language barrier but it was just lonely! They could have at least turned on the TV. Also they could have manicured each hand on that side of the body instead of awkwardly having to do the cross body manicure while in the pedicure chair.
I will visit again but I’ll bring a friend for conversation!

I went in for my 3^rd appt and the owner was so rude about the nails I was asking them to make me I left and won’t be back. The first nail appt I was happy even thought the nail art I wanted had to be removed. The second appt was decent, but the paint job was bad and I had to redo my nails myself. The third and last time I’ll go to this place was one of those experiences that makes you want to tell others about how rude the owner was.

My daughter and I went in for manicures. I got a very basic manicure, and my daughter got a gel manicure. We are both very pleased with the results. We didn’t have time for pedicures today, but we both agreed that we’ll be going back soon for those! We may have found our new favorite nail spa!

I was visiting for my brother’s graduation and my mom and me went here to get our hands and feet done. It’s her favorite salon and they didn’t disappoint! Lots of options for pedicures with different massages and treatments. Since there are so many different options, you really have to be clear on exactly what you want. The young lady that did my nails was friendly and nice and made sure that I got exactly what I wanted. The place is clean and nicely decorated. I can see why my mom loves this place!

Dude… RUN! I went here because I have never gotten a manicure before (I’m 23) and my best friend assured me this place is the best. Well, this was definitely not what I was expecting for my first manicure. I asked for a gel full set. I GOT ACRYLICS! They asked me point blank if I wanted gel and I said yes. Are you kidding me? The young girl who did my nails sat me down at a dirty station and simply removed the towel and placed a new one there. She used a nail drill and it hurt! When I complained, she sighed and started texting! I should have left then but I wasn’t sure if this was normal, due to me being a mani virgin. Next, she dusted my nails off using a paper towel. She then proceeded with putting on tips and applying the powder. I started to get suspicious because I at least knew that gel requires UV light, yet she put layer on top of layer on top of layer of powder on. Then, she whips out her phone again in the middle of applying the powder and wait for it… actually puts her phone on speaker and takes a call! Complaining about how she’s late for the game at school because she has one more person she has to take care of before she leaves! In the middle of the call she asked if I wanted a gel top coat. Confused, I said yes. She baked my hands for two whole minutes and then said «go pay.» I thought I would get some lotion, a hand massage, maybe even some cuticle oil but I didn’t. She did’t even push my cuticles back. All that for $ 35. Within a few days my nails started peeling at the sides, turned yellow, and she put so many layers on my nails that they were bulging over. I regret not taking a picture but it was really embarrassing. When I finally couldn’t take it anymore I went to another place for removal. The owner of the salon actually had her employees watch her because she said she had never seen nails this bad. It took almost 40 minutes to remove everything and I have deep lines on my nails where she sanded them down to the nub! I hate giving one star reviews but I really want people to be aware of my experience before you go here. I’m sure that they are a great place but they need to change a lot of things. Because of this place I don’t know if I will ever get a manicure again!
