Home Systems Data, Inc. is your premier home inspection company. Home Systems Data has been in business 27 years. We have eleven Professional Inspectors on our staff. We pride ourselves on exceptional service, uncompromising ethics, providing superior knowledge in the best interest of our clients. All of our inspections are performed to the ASHI (American Society of Home Inspectors) Standards of Practice and Code of Ethics. Aaron and David are also Certified EDI (Exterior Design Institute) Stucco Inspectors. Steve is also our residential Environmental Data Expert, providing environmental reports pertaining to your home and surrounding areas. Our professional home inspection is an examination of the current condition of your prospective home. Our home inspectors will review the condition of the roof, attic, heating/​cooling systems, walls, ceilings, floors, windows and doors, electrical, plumbing, structure, drainage, all appliances, fireplaces, and attached garages.

Bryan founded Home Systems Data, Inc. in 1985. HSDI is now the leading home inspection company in the Denver Metro area. Bryan has personally performed thousands of home inspections in the Denver area. Bryan’s knowledge of older homes is second to none in the home inspection field. Realtors respect his honesty with home buyers, taking time to answer questions and providing a comprehensive computer generated inspection attaching digital pictures. A complete joke and a rip off! They inspected our house in Castle Rock and missed so many things. I could have done a better job. The upstairs heating didn’t work-​$ 500.00 to get that fixed. The central vac system does not work, the microwave does not work, he never inspected the crawl space, the fountain out front leaks, one thermostat is broken, Gdo’s don’t work, and the list goes on. Totally incompetent. Don’t waste your money-​choose another company!

Vince Busnardo of HSDI did an inspection of a home we are looking to buy, and we were very impressed with his knowledge and the thoroughness of his inspection — — he was at the home on time and did not rush as some inspectors have done for us in the past, but rather took his time and did the job well. Vince was also congenial and explained everything patiently and clearly, as we asked multiple questions. The report was also ready for us very quickly. I highly recommend this inspector and company.

These guys are good. Thorough and professional. Both inspectors were obviously very experienced. The reports were detailed and informative. They inspected two houses for me in this past summer’s inflated market. For the first house, they detected and documented some serious hidden issues. Instead of working with me on resolving the problems, the sellers just denied they existed with the attitude, «don’t care, don’t have to.» Sadly I had to walk away from this beautiful house. The second house was a breeze. No major problems even though it was a much older house — just a few things which the inspector said were consistent with the age of the house. So I closed and happily paid above listing price. I love the house, and I feel good about making informed decisions about buying it.

The attention to detail was amazing and John spent all the time necessary to explain everything that I needed to know about my home and the repairs and updates that were going to be required moving forward. I can highly recommend this company.

HSDI was recommended by my realtor and the inspector, John Dawson, seemed to do a thorough job. He took time to explain his finding and was helpful. The reason for the poor rating is that he missed visible mold in the attic that is costing me thousands of dollars to remediate. If it was hidden or difficult to spot, I would totally understand. But it was extensive, easily visible to the naked eye, and should have been identified for further inspection by any reasonably capable home inspector.
HSDI limits their liability to the cost of the inspection so I have no recourse. I would not recommend them given this critical error.

Had Bryan Jones do the inspection for the new house we are buying.
Extremely thorough and knowledgeable.
He focused on the important items (water) and clearly explained his concerns about selected items. He found a leak in the the sewage pipe where the builder’s crew had punched a tiny hole with a screw.
As a buyer, you need to understand that every inspector will bring up issues that are meaningless. It is just how they work. Computers have made it much easier to generate long reports with many ominous sounding problems. It is your job to separate wheat from chaff.
Highly recommended.
