Black Widow Exterminators

I have had several great experiences with Black Widow Exterminators. Initially I called them to take care of a persistent ant problem. It took 2 treatments and the ants were gone. I called them back to do a general treatment in my basement to control the spiders. The customer service is exceptional and the guys I’ve had out completing the jobs have also been great.

great guarantee. Ants went away. they did a touch up when i saw ants on front and back porch and side of house. Haven’t seen in or on house since. Diffiicult at first to get them to come back. They said they had no record of my visit. Lower rating because of inconvenience of calling bank to send me copy of cancelled check.

Black Widow did a great job of eliminating the mouse problem in our new house. I talked to Paul to schedule the service and Jeremy was the technician that came out to do the work. They both were courteous and responsive. Will definitely use them again (but hopefully I won’t need to).

Called them about a spider problem in my new house on Friday, and Paul had a guy here on Monday. Kenny was here on time and was thorough and professional. He took great care and sprayed both outside and inside and was great to talk to. I can’t imagine going with any other exterminators after this pleasant experience.

Quick, thorough, did just what they said. Glad to have someone knowledgeable and friendly, no pressure, and good results. Now all I find are dead spiders. Just the way I like it.

We had a real spider problem at our home a year ago. I sprayed and bug bombed the house repeatedly and it seemed to just make the spiders bigger. The bushes outsider were covered in webs in the fall. I called Black Widdow exterminators and was leery because the price seemed high and I wasn’t sure it was going to improve the situation. An exterminator arrived and sprayed something that looked and smelled like water in some random areas inside and outside. I thought «this isn’t going to work. He isn’t even spraying the spiders. This stuff doesn’t smell strong enough to kill anything.» I was wrong. I didn’t see a single spider anywhere for nearly a year! Not one.
We have recently started seeing some spider activity again so we gave them a call. They were booked a few weeks out. They arrived on time and sprayed for spiders. Same success as last time. The exterminator also found a good size yellow jackets nest outside. He put on a bee suit and took care of the nest — AT NO ADDITIONAL CHARGE. Wow! Black Widdow is great.

I called Black Widow after a referral was given to me. I called on a Tuesday at 4:55. Paul answered the phone and even was able to have someone out at my house the next morning to take care of the wasps nest that was in the ground in my back yard.
The next morning they arrived promptly and took care of the problem. Two days later and not one sign of the former problem.
If I have any more bug problems I will be calling again.

Spring is apparently breeding season for ants, and they were definitely breeding in and around our house. I called on a Friday for an appointment and they were able to come out that same day. Their spray is pet/​kid friendly, and although they said it takes two weeks to fully «get ‘em,» we haven’t seen another ant since. 100% pleased with everything about this company!

They charged a fair price for a single visit, and most importantly didn’t get us to try and sign a contract.

We called Black Widow because of their Unilocal reviews. Though I had to leave a message when I first called, I was called back right away. I am always amazed how many service businesses fail to promptly call back, so that was the start of a good impression. I don’t remember the guy’s name who called me back, but I assume he was the owner. He was very friendly and helpful. We scheduled an appointment for the following day and he let us know that Kenny would be visiting our house to do the work.
Kenny showed up right on time with a big smile on his face. I have an issue with dealing with companies who have miserable employees, and Kenny seemed to be anything but miserable. He was very friendly, talkative and had a great demeanor. He let us know exactly what he would be doing and why he’d be doing it. He also gave my wife and I some pointers on hiking 14ers and how to use the panorama mode on my cell phone camera… thanks Kenny!
All around, the experience was exactly what I think of when I think of good service. When it’s time for our next service, I will not hesitate to call Black Widow again.

I originally chose this company based off Unilocal reviews, so I was even more thrilled when there was a Unilocal offer as well! They are easy to work with, no expensive contract required (you just call when you need them), scheduling is reasonable, and they are in and out of your home in no time. Quick process. The chemical spray dries fast and is safe around children and pets. And it works! Dead spiders (eek!) within a few days. So far so good! It’s been a few months and no more spider problems (I had them spray one more time, but only out of my own fear of seeing a ginormous wolf spider in my garage!). I recommend Black Widow Exterminators.

Best pest control company in Colorado by far… Great customer service, I was able to make an appointment right away and the specialist arrived to spray my house promptly on time. The technican (kenny) was extremely friendly and made the entire experience very comfortable and easy. I would recommend this company to anyone who wants to PERMANENTLY be rid of pests, mice etc. I haven’t seen once since I called Black Widow.

Was looking for spider control for my parents house in Wheatridge. They had a TON of spiders around and the nail in the coffin was when we saw two black widows (not why we chose this company though!). I called several places for quotes before settling on Black Widow Exterminators. Their prices were roughly in line with the other big competitors, but the thing that tipped me their way was that they were a small local company and they didn’t require a year long contract of quarterly services (which every other big company did). I loved that this company gave the initial service and then a discount for repeat calls if you do choose to use them quarterly, though the owner said a lot of folks just use them twice a year as needed. Nice to have that flexibility and not be locked into a contract.
For the service, they were able to be booked a couple days out and we had a Saturday appointment and they showed up right on time and worked quickly and efficiently. They use a sprayer that gets everything and is pet/​people friendly so you don’t have to leave while they do it. Also, they can get in teh crawlspace just from the opening and use their sprayer that shoots 50 feet (or something large) and covers it all without having to crawl down into there.
We saw a couple spiders initially, which they warned us about because the spiders are trying to essentially run away from the stuff that’s killing them, and since that first day there hasn’t been a spider around since. It accomplished exactly what we were looking for. It’s been about a month since the service and so far we are very pleased. With the Unilocal deal it was a good deal and with no contract we can use them as often as we need it and only pay for what we use.
Great deal in my opinion and I’d recommend them.

paul is great guy, returns calls promptly and shows up on time for appointments. he also gives you a great value and uses chemicals that wont be adverse to outdoor pets.
