I ordered a green rain jumper in medium and it turned out to be the wrong size because they have the sizing chart wrong. There is a range given of 17 – 19 chest girth on the green jumper I ordered, so I bought it because my dog is 18.5. It is too small. So I looked at the site again and realize that they have a single measurement (not a range) for chest girth on the yellow item. They have a disclaimer on the yellow one that the measurements are for the item.
When I contacted the company, I was told that the reason I got the wrong size is it’s a measurement for the item, not the dog. Ok, so when I read 17 – 19 or whatever that was the result of someone MEASURING the jumper?!? There is also no disclaimer on the green color I bought, but only the yellow of the same thing.
After I was referred to another person, she told me it was my responsibility to not put it on my dog, but to send it back. (I had been very clear my dog wore this because the weather is bad.) So I’m being told I need to pay return shipping on this item that had misleading information. Yes, I put this item on my dog, but you don’t blame the customer for caring for her pet when you led her to buy the wrong size. Fix your site so the colors both have the same sizing for the garment measurement and send me a size large with an apology for the inconvenience. Don’t tell me I shouldn’t put the jumper I bought in good faith on my dog when it’s pouring rain and tell me to shell out more money to have it sent back!

My dog’s toy lasted 4 — FOUR — days and when I contacted BaxterBoo, they told me, and I quote, that ‘their toys weren’t meant for chewing’. Of course that is not noted anywhere on the site.
So, um, what exactly IS a dog supposed to do with a toy that looks rugged? LOOK AT IT?
When I requested a refund, they instead gave me a GIFT CERTIFICATE, as IF I would ever buy from them again.
SO, if you are trying to decide, buy from Amazon, and DO NOT ever buy from this horrid company.

Ordered houndstooth style collar for a large size dog (Presa Canario). The style is definately what I wanted but the width is a joke. The standard large size collar is at least an inch. This collar is ⁵⁄₈ of an inch in width. This is my first and last purchase from BaxterBoo.

Be aware that this company does not post reviews by people who are not thrilled with the product they purchased. I ordered a $ 60 fleece jacket for my Bichon, following their measurement guides to the letter. It should have been roomy on him according to the measuring instructions, but it is very snug and rides up his body. Unfortunately I needed to use it and had to make a buttonhole on the top to facilitate attaching a leash to his harness, which rendered the product non-​returnable. I couldn’t believe that a $ 60 jacket for a small dog wouldn’t come with this feature to begin with.
I wrote a review on their website stating my disappointment. It was never published. So just be aware that when you read their glowing customer reviews, it’s the only type of review they appear to allow.

You get what you pay for. .. I ordered a dog stroller for my mother’s birthday and selected 2 – 3 business day shipping but unfortunately what they sent her in 2 – 3 days was a free dog bone and a letter stating she would not receive the stroller for another 7 business days! When I called to complain they said my only option was to pay additional shipping to return the stroller to them. Thanks for nothing!

I’ve ordered from this company on several occasions and I do support small business. This particular business should work on how to process returns, how to label sizing on the clothing and on their website, and they need to update their support email.
I ordered quite a few items and the return processing didn’t happen until I called to ask about the the status. This happened on two occasions.
On the first return, it took over a week after receipt to get them to process the credit. They told me that they only had one person who processes returns.
On the second incident, 13 days had passed, and no credit. When I called they claimed they had not received the returned package. A hour later, they call me back and say that they have it and will process the return.
So, if you are returning anything to this company, you will want to get tracking on it.
The other issue is sizing. You can study their sizing on the site and do all the measurements you want – but there are going to be items that will not be correct. I found this to be the case with some of the knitted sweaters. Either the sizing was missing from the site – or it skipped sizes. Some of the size tags in the garment were missing, and I got several of the sweaters with pieces of tape or price gun stickers where sizes were handwritten on them. My guess is that they GUESSED the size since some of the items were so large – it would be hard to believe that their hand printed sizing was correct.
When I returned items because of sizing – they said they would issue a refund of 5.00 in postage. I insisted on the refund because one of the items was supposed to be a «small» and it was HUGE – like a large (but a smaller large, if there is such a thing). That large item took up much of the bag – and I did not want to pay for something that was wrong. Once they found the return item – and notice I said «found,» they did not do what they said – which was refund my postage. Now they are going to measure it to prove me wrong – okay. Unfortunately, I don’t have time to debate over dog clothing, so I don’t rate this action as «excellent customer service.»
It seems that they need to be a bit more through in terms of marking their own store tags (which some items had) with the correct sizing. Allowing tags to fall off, running short of inventory and sizing information and then being forced to «guess» at what you are shipping would make any store a bit unorganized.
Lastly, they have an email:
. This email bounces back. I replied to an email they sent me about a refund and it does not work. If you can’t reply to this email – maybe they ought to say that in the email.
Obviously, this is a small business – and they have great items. And they do seem to want to please their client. Problem is they are in need of some organization – and maybe even staff– so they won’t burn bridges with customers who have attempted to support them. I’ve seen some reviews where people cry «fraud» and «scam.» That is a bit much – and anyone with common sense would know that these folks aren’t out to scam or defraud anyone. They simply need to be more organized and they probably need to hire more folks to get the work done properly.
They have great sales – and so I won’t say I will never order from them again – but I will do so with caution and make sure that I can’t find the same items at another store for a better price – with less drama– before I spend my money here. Just saying.

One of the BEST online sites for pets! I have dealt with them for many years. Prices are great, always a coupon code available to use. Love the fact that items come with manufactures measurements. Fast delivery, only had one return and was given exchange without problems. Highly recommend Baxter Boo.

I found BaxterBoo the day my shih tzu, Oolie, was born and that was just about a year and a half ago. I buy a lot of items on sale (which is easy because there always seems to be a sale or discount) and I usually have a coupon for a percentage off an order or free shipping.
Their rewards system is pretty awesome, too. I mentioned discount codes and they’re probably the best part. If you don’t buy something in a month or so they’ll send you a 40% off coupon that lasts for a fair amount of time after you receive it. You can submit pictures of your pets in their products and it has the possibility of being chosen as the pic of the day where you receive a $ 25.00 gift code! (Oolie has won twice). You’re then entered to win their monthly prize of $ 250.00.
I’ve never had a problem with their customer service and I’ve had to return several items due to sizing. The emails I’ve exchanged with their customer service have been pleasant and helpful and better than I would expect.
The only issue I’ve discovered with a product was one set of bows I bought around Christmas have fallen apart already. As a STL Cards fan the red bow was worn for quite a while and it just sort of came undone. I think it must be the material because the other red bow that came with it also fell apart and I hadn’t even used it yet. I may pursue the issue but I haven’t decided yet.

I bought my dogs hoodies and boots for winter (it was extremely cold, and they NEEDED these items).
I measured them –exactly– as it describes on BaxterBoo’s website. All of the hoodies were one size too small.
The boots fit perfectly! However… in less than a week the Velcro strap was unraveling like a sweater. My dogs were only using them to go outside to do their business. It was far too cold out for exercise, so they weren’t using the boots to run and play, at all. Also the bottoms of the boots started to shred! Again, they were only going out to do their business. My dogs nails are cut short, so I –know– it had nothing to do with that.
I called the company and told them I want to return these items. The woman who answered told me «That’s fine, but there better not be ANY dirt, fur or anything on the items!» I find the way she said it very rude, as was her tone. How am I supposed to get fur out of dog boots, without ripping them even worse than they already were?
I got them items as clean as I possibly could, and shipped them out. I shipped them on the 5^th or 6^th of April. It’s now the 18^th, and BaxterBoo says they do not have the items. (*Note: I no longer have the tracking number, it got lost.) Their reply email was written in a manner that could only come across as rude, just like the woman that answered my phone call.
After the level of rude that I dealt with, it leads me to wonder if they in fact do have the items, but are saying they don’t…
I HIGHLY recommend that people look elsewhere to shop. Most of their items are very overpriced anyway.

Poor Service Poor Attitude!!!
Placed a few orders, one was a correction, and the representative not only argued with me, but refused to honor original promotion!, and hung up on me!!!
I called back to speak with a manager, and was told that that I should not order from them again. I in my life have never been treated so poorly. I spent well over 100.00 dollars this past month, and had proof that the item I received last night was incorrect. They refused to correct anything for me, or offer any type of apology and or correction. This company is not professional, they do not provide a professional customer service experience. I am actually appalled at the way the manager/​owner spoke to me today as well. Note to the owner, you have a lot to learn about running a business!!! Your in the service business, what’s the matter with you? to treat a customer like that? You did nothing to correct my order today!!!

If I could give this company negative stars, I would. I have two beloved pooches that I shower lots and lots of presents on. So needless to say, I’ve shopped many pet websites. I made my first purchase on
last week and I will NEVER ever order from them again. It was shippped usps and when I tracked it, the package was marked delivered. I never received it. I contacted baxterboo customer service by phone and was sent to a voicemail. I left a voicemail with my phone number and I was sent an email instead saying that it was basically my issue that the package was lost and that once they send it, it’s out of their hands. I responded back by email (seems to be the only way they would like to converse with you) and explained that I paid for a product and it wasn’t my fault that it wasn’t delivered and it wasn’t my responsibility to investigate. They never responded. I finally received the package and it was opened and the coat I ordered was damaged. I called again to find out about returning it. Someone actually answered the phone and was not apologetic about the situation at all. She said I could send it back but I had to pay for the return shipping. Can you believe this? She didn’t care at all that I was a first time customer and would never shop with them again.
This company does not care about you as a customer. Don’t fall for their 365 day return policy because if you read the fine print you will see that there are many limitations. This company is a SCAM and does not deserve even one star. They sent me a DEFECTIVE toy — Savvy Tabby Wild Time Kitty Playland. One of the three sticks was broken. I tried to email them and the «
» was a DEAD email.
I returned the item, and they only want to make a partial refund for the shipping. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY.

I have bought several things for my young dog from them. When I realized that I had ordered the Vail coat and a hoodie in a size too small, I mailed them back and re-​ordered in a larger size.
I received an email about a credit on my account for the hoodie but I wondered why there was nothing about the coat. Imagine my surprise when the coat turned up in my mailbox with (1) two stickies on the coat marked dirty and (2) a note saying it was not returnable due to being dirty and that BB was charging me $ 3.50 to send the item back to me.
I called the company today and spoke to a company representative to express my dismay at how I felt about the way this was handled. Not customer friendly.
What I am unable to figure out is how the coat became dirty. I never put it on my dog and it never left my bedroom.
I realize this is a small company and keeping costs down is important. Given the level of customer service I did not receive, I will not longer be a customer and suggest — as some below have done already — buyer beware.

I ordered a Lederhosen Costume for my Dog for Halloween. I received a X-​mas elf costume instead. When I called to tell them I got the wrong outfit & to have them send another one asap the told me, «Sorry we’re now out of the Lederhosen.» Given I ordered it 5 days prior to receiving it, I found that extremely hard to believe. I called over a week ago asking Baxterboo to send me a return envelope to send the costume back and ge t a refund & I still haven’t received that. I just spent 30 min. listening to elevator music waiting for, «A representative to be with me shortly.» Nobody ever answered & I was aksed to leave a message. This company is a joke. They never had the correct costume & sent me the wrong one, hoping I’d just keep it & they could keep my money. NOT GONNA HAPPEN!

Im sad to see some negative reviews about this place. I needed boots for my dog to keep her furry paws clean when I take her out in the rain. Baxterboo had inexpensively priced boots (in pink might I add). I bought the boots, was pleased to get an email minutes later that they had already been shipped. 2 days later here they are in my home.
A lot of people complain that their prices are too high. I have two things to say to that. Of course a small local business can’t offer amazon prices. Seriously? is everyone simply looking out for themselves? I’d rather pay a few extra bucks and support local businesses over corporations ANY day (and no, I am not a millionaire, I’m a starving student, but even I can see the economical benefits to this). Second, with all the information on the internet, you can price search in 2 seconds. Not Baxterboo’s fault you made your purchase before you shopped around for a good price. No one forced you to buy through here. If you want to continue to support massive corporations and screw over your neighbor trying to run a small business by all means. Baxterboo has a great return policy.
My order came with a free halloween dog toy, and a hand written note saying thanks for the order. Small things that make me feel less like an online order and more like a human :)

I have thoroughly enjoyed dealing with BaxterBoo. Products are very unique you will not see them in stores. They are very helpful and easily accept returns no questions asked. Love the 40 percent codes. My favorite purchase was a (300.00 retail price on all websites) stroller for my tiny Yorkie which I obtained for 120.00 You can’t beat BaxterBoo!

I’m a huge fan of BaxterBoo! Their products are of excellent quality, and when combined with some of their awesome deals/​promo codes they offer, you can get some great items for cheap! My dogs especially love their polo shirts, and get LOTS of compliments on them!
I just got a free $ 40 gift certificate just for being a loyal customer through their rewards program (you get points for every dollar you spend), and now they are also offering a referral program. What a great company! Much better than Petsmart or Petco if you want unique items for your pet.

Don’t waste your time and money. Ordered a coat for my dog that didn’t fit to size. Had to pay return shipping for the refund. Ordered a second larger coat that never showed up. When asked about a refund or replacement to be sent, was told that it wasn’t their problem, that USPS was to blame. Save yourself the time and money, order from Amazon, they guarantee their products and services.

I don’t dress my Dobbie-​Pittie (aka: A-​Dober-​Bull) in clothes on a regular basis, but dang do I get a kick out of costumes. For some reason, many retailers thinks that Halloween costumes are only for little dogs, but Baxter Boo had a great selection of awesome costumes that fit my 43lbs furbaby.
She will be dressed as the world’s cutest peacock ever. (She doesn’t like the head piece, but I can live with just the tail feathers.)
Shipping was quick (I used regular shipping and my item arrived 3 maybe 4 days later in NY).

I’m not going to lie… pets in clothing kind of creep me out. I’m not sure what it is about it – but the creep out factor is further accentuating when the pets are wearing more expensive «clothing» than I am (Burberry Dog Capes, Coach Accessories, etc.).
However, I have made two exceptions when it comes to my Bella. (1) For reasons of necessity – such as jackets. My pup gets COLD and doesn’t like rain… so jackets are a must. (2) When she wears her Yoda costume at Halloween. Puggle Jedi Master, She is.
Bella is simply outgrowing her current jacket that we picked up at Toys R Us a long time ago and we’ve been having a hard time finding a replacement that doesn’t cost an arm and a leg.
I came across Baxter Boo’s site a few weeks ago and was pleased to find a wide variety of pup coats and affordable costs. We selected one and it was delivered to our house within days with a handwritten thank you note. NICE TOUCH!
Unfortunately the jacket was too small and the size larger would have been too big. We were able to return the jacket and get a full refund on it but not on the shipping charges.
