History

Established in 2009.

My name is Melissa A. Carnahan, creator and owner of the Paw Academy™ Company. Let me share how I came up with our company and ideas…

I earned an Associates Degree & soon went to work that revolved around M-​F. Arriving everyday 8 to 5. I looked forward to weekends, but they go so fast, before you know it, its another long week of sitting at a computer, dreaming of a «better life». We would wake up, rush to get the coffee brewing, lunches packed while our dog, «Bella Cosa» & cat, «Nova Toe» snoozed away in our cozy spots on the bed… watching cartoons until we get home & are greeted by their genuine love & «ready to play» attitudes!

We attended social parties to relax and I started to ponder «how other pets live», it wasn’t long after involving my friends & seeing how talking about their pets brought a smile to their face accompanied with lots of funny stories. I started researching & communicating with people in the business only to discover this was my calling in life!

Our company has a true love for all animals and we take pride in our jobs everyday of providing your pampered pets with the best possible care!

We also understand that not all pets are as lucky as yours, so we pledge to do what we can to help animals that have not found a loving home yet.

We are happy to share that we donate a percent of our earnings every month to animal shelters and rescure leagues to help care for the pets until they can be adopted.

The Human Society of the United States and ASPCA are the two on-​going charities with them receiving a percentage of every month’s earnings and total sales! This adds up fast!
