We ordered the cinnamon crunch pancakes and a spicy chicken panini. The food was delicious and the restaurant felt cozy. The waitress helping us was very friendly and checked on us a few times. Would definitely go back again.

Great restaurant and probably the busiest in downtown Cedarburg. Great for breakfast, brunch or lunch. They have some great classic meat, egg and potato breakfast along with some amazing healthy and different choices. Not to mention the best gyro and tzatziki sauce I’ve had in South East Wisconsin. The only issue is that sometimes you have to wait for a table or seat at the counter. Usually not more then 20 min. I suggest using that time to explore a bit of this part of downtown Cedarburg. Lots of nice and interesting shops.

Finally I found a old school restaurant/dinner that has high standards of quality, quantity and value. I sat at the counter and watched every plate being checked for quality. Fast, friendly and clean. they get a 5star. I will return again and again yummy

Love this place! The staff is always so friendly and the food is to die for! There usually is a wait of 10 – 15 minutes but it is totally worth it. The food is really good and well priced :)

One of my favorite places for breakfast or lunch when I come home to visit!!! Their Breakfast BLT is my all time favorite breakfast food and their home made soups are excellent!

After several breakfast visits, there has been constantly good and friendly service with a wide selection of breakfast choices. I’m particularly fond of the skillet breakfasts, but there are omelets, pancakes, and a number of Benedict variations. Good coffee, plenty of fresh fruit, and the sourdough toast is particularly tasty. All in all, a great breakfast to start a day of wandering Cedarburg shops. But then there is lunch. Sandwiches are good, not lavish, but the soups are scratch made and really good. Tried the chicken and dumplings — great chicken soup with dumplings that were melt-in-the-mouth good. This is a great diner stop in picturesque Cedarburg. Nice to be just off the bike trail.

Highlights/Lowlights 1) HUGE selection of breakfast entrees 2) average service We visited PJ Piper’s on a Sunday morning with a group of 5. Surprisingly we didn’t have to wait at all! The atmosphere is very local, feels very home-y, and probably hasn’t been updated in awhile. The breakfast menu is HUGE. There are a ton of savory and sweet options for breakfast. Menu items included bananas foster and«cowboy»(oats, peanut butter chips, and chocolate chips) pancakes for your sweet tooth. If you are more of a savory breakfast person there are a ton of omelets, benedicts, and scramblers. While gluten free items aren’t specifically called out there are plenty of scramblers and omelets that are g free. All of our food was great! The service was a little on the slow side and not overly friendly. They were pretty busy so maybe that’s why? Either way, nothing awful but definitely nothing noteworthy. Great spot for breakfast in downtown Cedarburg!

Both my husband and I were very ill on two separate occasions of ordering their breakfast skillets. We will not go back.

It’s our go-to Sunday morning breakfast with the kids. Staff is great, food is good and way way cheap. If you go before 9 there is not usually a wait. My kids love it. It has totally outdated style, but the staff, food, and prices make up for it.

I had a Belgium waffle with strawberries and whip cream. Hubby had basically a plate of everything. We both though my it was tasty and the waitress was sweet. Overall would recommend for a quaint, nice breakfast.

This place is awesome. It’s hands down the best incarnation of this restaurant/location. The food always impresses and the prices are cheap. They’re also flexible about substitutions which gets bonus points in my book. There is usually a wait on the weekends in the morning but never for long. Usually it’s about 5 minutes for two people. The food is served pretty quickly as well and while it looks chaotic the waitresses are always on top of things.

THE breakfast place in Cedarburg! Great hash browns, eggs, and cakes! Generally very busy even at the earlier hours so plan accordingly.

I don’t know if I’m more surprised that this place has a four star rating or if we had a(generous) two star experience at a place with a four star rating. The pancakes were good, our server was okay, and that’s where the positives ended for us. We called ahead and had our names put on the list… and then the wait ended up being 20+ minutes more than what we were told, which is a big deal when you’re out with four kids ages four and under. We ordered the kids’ meals right away, but somehow received our food far before we got theirs. My crab cake and asparagus eggs Benedict, was cold by the time the kids’ food came, and was only barely edible because I was famished and we were in a rush. The crab was grey and gritty and the plate was swimming in hollandaise(and I’m a saucy person; it takes a lot to be too saucy for me — this was). My husband didn’t like his meal either(he actually left potato pancakes on his plate, uneaten!) The bacon tasted bad/wrong. My husband mentioned it to the cashier as we paid for our food and received coupons for free pancakes. We gave them to incoming customers on our way out; we won’t be back.

This is without a doubt a must visit café. We decided to visit on one of what we thought would be one of their busiest days, Strawberry Fest. We ended up waiting about 10 minutes and it was worth the wait! The café had a counter for single patrons which is always a plus for me. Most of the other seating was booths and tables. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. As soon as we were seated the waitress was right there for the drinks order. Moments later the drinks arrived and the meal order was taken. This place is noted for breakfast so that was a no brainer. Our family ordered a number of their specialties. Meat-lovers Omelet, waffle.

Fantastic breakfast place in Cedarburg. I would highly recommend this place. If you get there early enough(before 9ish am or earlier) your wait is minimal. After that time you can expect 20 – 30 minute waits or longer. They do move people in and out quickly too so in the 2 visits I’ve been there it hasn’t been over 20 minutes but it’s well worth the wait. The food is really great. I’ve had breakfast both times and would highly recommend this place.

Cute little small town diner. This is our second time here. Very friendly service and lots of seating inside. The prices are very good for all the food you get. I would recommend this place for all ages. Get the sourdough toast!

Great place for breakfast. Wait was a little lengthy to be seated because they were packed but truthfully it was well worth it. Both my wife and I got the meat lover skillet which we both loved. The pancakes were great. Our waiter was consistent and friendly. The rest of the staff was friendly as well. Extremely reasonably priced. Next time I’m in Milwaukee, will be back here.

Came here with my fiancé and his family last weekend! The wait wasn’t too bad for a party of 5. It was about 20 minutes on a Saturday morning at around 10am. We immediately commented on the cozy and quaint atmosphere of the restaurant. We also appreciated the generous amount of space they placed in between tables. Kinda felt like you were having brunch at a neighbors! Our meals did not disappoint either! I highly recommend the banana foster waffle! In my opinion, it had the perfect level of sweetness. The fresh apple pancakes, florentine crêpe and big sky breakfast were all amazing too. Generous portions and fresh ingredients. Oh yeah, service was quick too! Will definitely be back!
