My sister worked at this salon for about a year. The owner, Linda, was a nightmare to work for. No employee is allowed to take a day off(even sick days) Unless they have been with the company for one year. One of the employees asked to take a half day so that she could renew her wedding vows on her 25th wedding anniversary, and the answer was no. The owner frowns upon friendly chit chat(that is usually just a normal part of business), and if family comes into visit you at work-beware– you will be in trouble. The worst part is that there has been a «for lease» sign up in front of the building, and regardless of customers AND employees inquiries into if she is closing down, she has denied it for months. Well, as of this week, there are huge«salon closing» signs up. The owner denied that she was closing, while leaving all of her employees with one week notice of being unemployed. How could you not warn your employees that they will be out of a job? Many of the girls who work there have young children, but Linda did not seem to care. She may have done an okay job on your hair, but she could care less about her employees. Even though she is closing down, she will be renting a chair in slinger. Please do not support someone as selfish as she is– there are plenty of great people out there who can do a great job on your hair.

Great place to relax and receive services from a professional and friendly team! Clean salon with great ambiance and lots of «extras» to offer like Vera Bradley merchandise and a great assortment of «bling». Best of all is the variety of Aveda products used in the salon and available to purchase. The owner has many years experience and really offers great advice!

If I could give this salon a zero I would. The owner is not a people person. This is not a customer driven business. I was never able to get the cut or color I wanted because the owner always knew better than me. I always felt like I was treated like a child in this salon. Just save yourself the time, money and reprimanding and go somewhere else.

Wanted to support local business. However, I cannot recommend this place for mani/pedi. The décor was nice and they try to make you think you will relax. As a vertically challenged person the chair/bench for the pedi was very uncomfortable. The technician did not cut my toe nail or trim off any dead skin around my nail. I thought oh well. Then I went to have a mani. I had Shellac on and the tech. buffed the polish. She was going to put polish on top of the chipped off stuff. Needless to say she too had nothing to do with trimming dead skin or pushing back cuticle. As I mentioned I’m short and the bench I sat on for my mani was even more uncomfortable. My toes were purple be the time I left due to them not touching the floor.

I went for highlights and a haircut. I was able to get a same-day appointment which seemed great but should have given me pause. Ambiance is nice but bring your own reading material. I like that they avoid the trashy magazines but they have NOTHING for you to read while you are sitting around for what is suppose to be half an hour for the foils to develop but I was forgotten for 45 minutes with nothing to do. Haircut was fine. Highlights were barely visible and when i voiced that didn’t get agreement. My family did not even notice I had gone to the salon. I went back the next morning and they redid it but definitely didn’t look like what i expected and who has time to get back again? The stylist was very nice but the owner was basically disagreeing with me that the highlights were not visible other than to her with her eyes an inch from my head and looking directly under a light. what a waste of time and money.

I also have had multiple negative experiences with this salon. First of all, I tried to schedule a styling for my bridal shower, and they wanted me to pay half-down, which I think is just absurd! I did get my hair done, and it was not what I asked for, despite several directives. Additionally, I had a horrible migraine during and after my shower. In my experience, if you know what you’re doing, you can secure an up-do WITHOUT causing pain. Secondly, the day before my wedding, I had scheduled my nail services to be done with a specific person. Mind you, they wanted me to sign a bridal contract, which I declined, explaining that I only wanted my nails done, and that should be no different than any other appointment. When I arrived for the services, they had set me up with someone else, without calling me ahead of time or even asking me. Needless to say, I have not returned. It’s unfortunate, because the nail tech I liked was really great, but they just don’t run the best business here. Go to Bella Lei or Neroli instead, that’s my advice.

I wish I could give this place 0 stars. I went here in April to do a trial run for my bridal hair. I showed the stylist(Sarah) a couple of pictures of what I wanted, a messy beehive with bun combination, really it wasn’t that difficult, she took a short glance and then started in on my hair. Not once did she ask about placement and started curling… she curled all of my hair and pinned it up all over the place using those U-shaped pins, not actual bobby pins. It looked nice, but an hour into my bridal shower it was falling out!!! Not only did my hair not look like I asked for, it was poorly constructed. On top of that, they made me put down a deposit for my wedding date. They made me sign some forms and were too slow to print it out(it took over 15 minutes and they were still printing). I was going to be late for my bridal shower so we left and asked them to mail it. Since I was leaving the next morning for my other bridal shower, I didn’t have time to have them re-do it. The contract came in a couple weeks later and I have since moved twice and have no idea where it is. My first MISTAKE was signing that thing in a rush. I recently called them up and explained to them my terrible experience and that I’d like to cancel my appointment. They said, «No can do and we’re going to charge you for the appointment anyway.» Apparently you have to call a month in advance to make any changes? I would understand if I had booked a large bridal party there, but it was just myself and they could easily fill the appointment. I’ve never experienced a salon that was unwilling to remedy a poor experience in order to satisfy their customer. Definitely overpriced as a salon for their services and quality. And I definitely do not recommend going here.
