Next Page Books (NPB) is a locally owned, independent bookstore situated in the historic New Bohemia (NewBo) district of Cedar Rapids, Iowa. The store carries a wide selection of fiction, non-​fiction, young adult, and children’s books in a warm and inviting environment.

History

Established in 2012.

New Bo Books was established in July 2012 by Mary Ann and Chuck Peters and quickly became a valuable community asset serving the greater Cedar Rapids area. The business was purchased in December 2015 by Bart Carithers and the store name was subsequently changed to Next Page Books.

Great selection of books; wide range of subject matter. I believe I met the owner when I stopped in after having coffee next door. He was very polite and engaging. Wonderful books on local history too! Definitely going to have to stop back in!

What a great thing to have in the New Bo area! I have frequented the Next Page Books for my book buying needs. I’m very impressed by their children’s section. They have all the classics, and more. Also, a good selection for the adults. If they don’t have what title you’re looking for, the staff is able to order it. The staff is fantastic. Stop by and say hi to them!
