Specialties

The Cedar Rapids Bowling Center is a quality driven 32 lane center featuring synthetic lanes, automatic scoring and bumpers on all lanes. It is important to us that your visit is enjoyable so we have an attentive staff to ensure your visit will be one of many more to come! We specialize in birthday parties, corporate parties, and personal parties. We have 16 42″ screens above the lanes so you won’t miss the game while you bowl. We also have a game room, snack bar and lounge for your pleasure. We welcome calls from open bowlers to check lane availability for your next visit.

History

Established in 1976.

The Cedar Rapids Bowling Center was founded by Pat and Steve Benz in 1976. It was established as a 32 lane modern bowling facility. It was purchased from the Benz’s in 1999 by Tom and Susan Pitlik. The Pitliks installed synthetic lanes in 2004. In the summer of 2008, they upgraded the automatice scoring with Brunswick Vector Scoring, added new masking units, tiled the bowling concourse, added 42″ flat panel TVs with high definition Dish programming and put in brand new Brunswick seating. Added to the remodel was a new paint scheme including several custom murals by Santiago! Plans for the future continue to take shape with additional upgrades coming soon.
