History
Established in 1981.
This bar has been here for as long as most people can remember. In the 70s it was called the Blue Moon. In 1981 a man named Skip Bekeris purchased it and named it the Break Room. Despite many people’s belief that the name refers to billiards, it was actually called the Break Room because at that time there were some major factories located all around the bar and the employees would come there on lunch time to eat and enjoy a couple beers. It has since been passed on to his children. Of the 5 Bekeris children it is Ray that currently owns the bar.
