Armstrong-​Race Realty Company, a long-​time operator of commercial properties in the Cedar Rapids marketplace, was formed in 1960 for the purpose of building and leasing back the Armstrong Department Store building on Third Avenue and Third Street in downtown Cedar Rapids for use of office space.

Armstrong Development Company President and CEO Jon Dusek was recently named one of the inaugural inductees in Midwest Real Estate News’ Hall of Fame. The honor highlights the careers of «the most accomplished commercial real estate professionals in the Midwest,» and profiled Dusek for his extraordinary assistance during and ongoing efforts since the Cedar Rapids flood of 2008.
