History

Established in 1984.

Since 1984, the founders of Preferred Care at Home have been making a difference in the lives of seniors and those in need of care with a commitment toward excellence. Co-​founders, Frank Guerrieri and Jody Guerrieri, RN, are considered experts in senior care. Their commitment to care for those in need has been the driving force for over a quarter of a century.

Together, their experience lies in owning, building and operating both medical and non-​medical home care companies. They have personally performed the ongoing day-​to-​day tasks that marked the success of their business. To ensure that every location would be equipped to provide such excellence in home care, the national expansion was held back until the processes and procedures were fully perfected in 2007.

Business Owner

With over 20 years of experience in the health field, the management of Preferred Care at Home of North Travis and Williamson Counties welcomes the opportunity to be of service to their community. Argie C. Martinez, BSN, RN is well respected healthcare professional in the areas of hospital nursing and home health nursing. With Preferred Care at Home, they will deliver a high quality of care to the growing senior population in the North Austin, Cedar Park, Lago Vista, Leander, Georgetown and Round Rock communities. Argie says: «Having seen patients at every age and with various needs, I know that individuals would rather be in the comfort of their own home rather than any other place.»

With the vision of helping others, especially the elderly, Argie decided to bring the Preferred Care at Home philosophy of care to her own community. «Being reliable, compassionate and affordable was the key to choosing the Preferred Care at Home model of service,» Argie says.
