Between the lemon pepper and Mangonero that’s all u need if you are a wing specialist. Hot and light work well with ranch. Mangonero is the better sweet/hot I’ve had around here.

Love this place! Great food, good prices, and awesome service! However I would like to see more local beer(Texas breweries) and PBR for the anti-Lonestar beer fans. Oh and more rubs/sauce choices even if they’re seasonal… Shelby rocks!

After watching an Austin Spurs game, we needed to find some grub late at night. We happened to have a couple 5-free-wings Pluckers cards, so why not? But in the end, this only proves that I’ll get excited over free stuff no matter how sub-par it is. No shame. This is my first Pluckers that wasn’t the one by UT campus. It’s a whole lot bigger, proportionally more TVs, and just as exciting. It was a Friday night, so there was a lot of ‘Wingo’ going on as well. But I’m just here for the food, and my 10 wings were just not as good as they could’ve been. The drummettes didn’t have a lot of meat on it and was incredibly touch and dry. I love my wet sauces, but my wings were basically dunked in sauce and had globs of it all over the place. I ended up scraping a lot of it off. Maybe the dry sauces would be more my thing. If you just want to watch the game with your friends and family, Pluckers is a great place. But if you want quality wings, go somewhere else or just make your own. Their desserts tho…

I went yesterday with a group of friends and it was pretty crowded(given that it was a Friday night). Service was good! Their wings are best served warm, because when they start getting room temperature you’ll realize that they’re kind of dry. I wasn’t too big of a fan of the Holy Macaroni. It was essentially like a mozzarella stick, but instead it’s filled with macaroni on the inside. It was a bit heavy and greasy, I was done after one stick. I recommend getting the Goldrush, Hallelujah, and Gochujang. The Goldrush is a bit on the sweeter side, and the Hallelujah and Gochujang aren’t terribly spicy.

The best wings I’ve ever had! I’m a world traveler and hands down, no one compares to this place… wings are cooked to perfection, dry rubs are amazing and wing sauces are tasty to the palate. Crowds can fill the place up in a hurry but it’s worth the wait when craving some serious deliciousness! We try to order in as well as out at least 3 times a month!

Absolutely love this place. They have the biggest wings & the best tasting wings, I think. We come here for most of our family birthday dinners bc it’s fun, loud, and good food for the whole family. Plus it’s cheap enough to enjoy & not break the bank.

I’ve lived in Austin for just over a week. I needed a place to watch the World Series, and a coworker had suggested this place earlier in the week because of their wings. He was right! The wings were bigger than most wing restaurant chains and very meaty. I had both their medium buffalo and sweet and spicy Korean style wings. They were both delicious! They offered free samples of the sauce so we’d know what we wanted. Also, because it was our first time there, they have us a half order of fried pickles on there house! They were the best fried pickles I’ve ever had. Our server, Alex, was super friendly and attentive. He made sure we understood the menu and answered all of our questions. The prices were reasonable and they had good drink specials. All around, everything was amazing. We will absolutely be back if for no other reason than the awesome customer service.

Came here for the first time on A Thursday night around 8:30pm for wings and to watch Football. Walked in and were seated immediately always a nice way to start off you experience. Elizabeth was our waitress she was very polite and friendly from the jump got us our drinks and took our order promptly. We ended up getting the all you can eat boneless wings and waffle fries for a good price. Pros: big boneless wings, temperature was hot, first order came with 4 very juicy wings, server was attentive, flavors were to our liking, clean establishment, decent prices, the games were on every TV. Cons: Way to much sauce on the plate looked like it way poured on not tossed in sauce, after the first order the wings came out tough and fries were soggy, lemon pepper is saturated in greasy oil, Definite Con when you get all you can eat you can only order in increments of 3 wings and takes forever for them to come out. Overall pluckers got the job done wings and football. We will give it a try 1 more time but ask for light sauce snd well done fries. Ask for Elizabeth as you waitress she’s the best!!! She made our experience better with her great service.

I can’t really say much since I have only had their wings to-go. The service seemed to be pretty quick and courteous while we were there and the restaurant itself was quite clean. This must be the spot when it comes to watching games because there was a football game on one side of the place and a soccer game on on the other and the entire place was packed! There was one thing that brought down the one star and it was the fact that the flavor I got that was listed as «garlic parmesan» had soooooooo much black pepper in it that I could not eat it. I ended up rinsing the wings off at home and eating them bland instead. On the other hand … their Dr. Pepper flavor was to die for! I would definitely go back and try their other stuff here.

So I was all ready to chow down on a few chicken wings. But I guess my specifics killed the joy. I ordered my wings un-tossed but didn’t expect them to be dry and over cooked. They showed up looking like they had visited a ten minute tanning booth for an hour. The sauces were fantastic but nothing else stood out. The fried pickles were ok. I think next time I want chicken wings I’ll buy some of their sauce and a Plucker’s T-shirt and make them at home. Sorry but these just didn’t make the grade…

I prefer this location over the S. Lamar location! The service was quick, and the food was cooked to perfection. I wish I could remember our waitress’s name but she was fantastic! She didn’t put the hot plates near our kids, and at the end didn’t ask loudly if we wanted dessert, instead whispered. This is a huge A+++ to me because if you kids then you know the struggle of the«no dessert» meltdown lol! We will return this location.

Beware of a server named Erik. He attempted to steal my iPhone!!! I have been to this location over the past 2 years and had no complaints ever. I have worked in the food service industry before and always tip 20% + unless the services is totally awful. Today when we were eating we had way below par service and had gotten 1 drink refill while spending 35 – 40 minutes eating a 15 wing plate combo and having an empty glass on the side of the table for 30 minutes. I had left a smaller than usual tip and wrote a comment on the card as to why it was not 20% and how he should improve. Upon leaving I left my phone on the table(always turned on) and started to head home. En route to my home we noticed I had left my phone called pluckers they had not had anything turned in; tried to call my phone it was shut off! Tried to locate phone could not be located!!! We went back to location a manager asked him for my phone and he gave him the iPhone. Which was shut off and had my banking apps opened and location services deactivated. Very sketchy server and I hope he is no longer working there after the GM spoke with him. I will never return to this location as they seemed as if it was okay and his actions would be dealt with at a later time. Very unprofessional.

Plucker’s is what it is and I do like coming here. Sports bar meets friends meets chicken and drinks… It has been some time since I have been in and I learned that they have updated the menu. More flavors AND they now serve GRILLED tenders that you can have tossed in your favorite flavors(I prefer Cajun/Spicy Ranch combo) Overall, they handle large crowds as well as they can. The orders are almost always accurate and the staff is courteous. With the grilled tenders now… I am more inclined to return now.

YEAH! I need to preface this with an important fact: I hate sports. I don’t understand their appeal and simply have no interest in watching them. But Stephen… why then are you giving a sports bar a 5-star review? Well, Internet… because their appetizers, burgers, and boneless ranch wings are just that good! I’d highly recommend getting their Pluckers card. I bought it years ago for $ 20 and have effectively gotten 10% off every meal, free meals on my birthday for years, a free appetizer every time… it’s probably saved me hundreds of dollars. I should mention, if you care about your health then this place isn’t for you.

I’ll keep this review succinct.. I came here on Sunday for Game 3 of the NBA finals Warriors vs. Cavs with a couple of friends. My wings was average, just basic as if you microwaved your own frozen wings. I had the honey barbecue, spicy ranch, Dr. Pepper, and the lemon pepper flavored wings, they were all okay. My accompanying fries were cold, not fridge cold just not warm either as if they were sitting out forever. The fried Twinkie dessert with ice cream tasted good however. The menu isn’t varied wings, a few burgers and a few uneventful sides. There aren’t any gluten-free options just to note which is pretty useful these days at eateries. A member in my party required a gluten-free diet but there aren’t such accommodations here. The restaurant area in which I dined sufficed for my purposes lots of TVs and comfortable viewing angles. The server never introduced herself by name and got our bills mixed up so I paid for my friend’s and vice versa. He was also charge for switching from soda to tea after being told initially there won’t be a charge. They do charge but the waiter made a mistake, I mean the rough the manager out just to comp $ 2.50! Service was very minimum I won’t be coming here again unless I’m in a pinch like I was on that Sunday where most sports bars in the area closed at 10 pm.

Love the ranch flappers here! The fried pickles are great too. Lots of TV screens to watch all the games. There is even a TV in the mirror in the bathroom! Staff is friendly. Will be back as usual.

Been awhile since I’ve been to a pluckers. I haven’t been missing much. Watched a movie at the Drafthouse and was in the mood for some wings. Because it was after 1500 I didn’t wanna drive to my favorite spot, Wingzup, and fight traffic coming back home. So out of convenience I came here. I had never been to this particular location. It wasn’t that crowded, but, the place looked and felt dirty. I’m ok with that if the food is worthy. In this case not so. It was a nice day so I grabbed a table outside and ordered a Thirsty Goat along with 10 wings with Bakers Gold. I used to really dig Bakers Gold and as I remember it had the perfect sweet to heat ratio. Today it was mostly sweet and very little heat. Not to my liking at all. My wings were just ok. The drummettes were dry and had a slight greasy taste. As for the wing wings they were ok. A couple were over cooked. They boast to have the biggest wings. Umm. I don’t think so guys. Another turn off is the place smells like stale beer. Service started out slow and friendly, but, got curt towards the end. See I had planned on just chilling on the patio enjoying the weather with some wings and beers. After I finished eating my waitress drops the check and says thank you. Then she walks off. Had she asked I would have ordered another beer even though I was overall disappointed with the wings. Next time I’ll make that drive to Wingzup.

Got the Bakers gold wings last night and I really liked them! Just enough spice and sweetness! We also got the hot buffalo wings and they were pretty darn hot. It definitely cleared my sinuses! They are pretty crowded on Tuesdays since it’s Kids eat free day so plan accordingly! If you hang out in the bar area it’s pretty easy to snag a small table and order quicker if you are not picky about where you sit!

Got that fire in the hole. Good experience. ++Spicy Lemon Pepper. A personal favorite, nothing to exotic, but I like the sour acidity and the generosity of the sauce ++Medium Buffalo– good safety. Not hot, but I still love the flavor -+ Fire in the Hole. Mixed feelings. Waiter said not many people order this. I understand. You basically fry your taste buds. It was a good quality marinade, but you can really only eat one until your esophagus burns up and your intestines turn inside out. +Ranch– not used to ranch chicken, but this was tasty +some Gold flavor– an employee invented it. Sweet, then a little spicy aftertaste. A tip: try the hottest flavor last. To be honest, all the flavors started dying on me after that first bite of Fire in the Hole. I was reaching for things to get rid of the burn. Batter didn’t taste like old oil. Food was piping hot for a good 5 – 10 min before cooling down. They need to offer tahini or a yogurt dip to cool down the brave venturers. Cute family friendly setup. Crowded on a Saturday afternoon but we had a good time. Menus are cute and snarky. I think the mentioned something about how fresh their chicken/oils are, so that’s plus in my book. Juicy chickens fried to the point that it soaks in that sauce for a crunchy savoriness? I’ll be back. Believe my review. I’ve been to Buffalo(home of the original wings) and back.

Wiiiiings! Who doesn’t love wings?! This place has a boat load of flavor choices, and the various spice levels are well balanced and gradually work their way up, so if you really do like«sort of spicy, but not too much» you can find a flavor/spice combo here that will fit the bill. I like their fries, and their fried pickles too. It’s all fried delicious goodness. Their beer selection is a bit shit. I’ll be honest. It’s more of your commercial chain Bud, Blue Moon, fare, but… it’s to be expected I suppose. Come for the wings and fried pickles. Go down the road to The Alamo Drafthouse for good beer. Servers are friendly and fun and the atmosphere always feels like everyone is having a good time. I like this place. I would take it over B’Dubs I think.yea. I like this place.
