Peace Frog Carpet & Tile Cleaning

Called a few local carpet cleaners and had a few recommendations for here and some others. After getting a quote Peace Frog was 5X as expensive as the other competition… They must make carpet better than when it was new or something because what they quoted me was ridiculous compared to others.

We had guests coming over for dinner on Friday and really wanted the carpet cleaned before they came over. I submitted a Service Request inquiry via the form on their website on Wednesday and received a call back within 10 minutes. They asked what services we were interested in and explained their carpet cleaning service for me in detail as well as a few other offerings they have.
They scheduled an appointment for us on Thursday between 11−2pm. They asked if it would be ok to come earlier if the technician finished the job before ours early and I said most definitely.
They called at 10:30am the day of the appointment and explained that Mike was running about 10 – 15 minutes early and asked if it would be ok for him to arrive early. I said sure and Mike arrived about 15 minutes later.
Mike was very courteous. We have a small dog, which is one of the reasons that we called Peace Frog in the first place (i.e. their cleaning methods). My dog was a little unsure of having a stranger in the house and Mike took the time to introduce himself to our dog and put him at ease. After which, we discussed what areas were in need of cleaning and of most concern. I also asked about their leather cleaning/​conditioning services as my couch was also in need of some TLC.
Mike got right to work on the couch. When he was done, the couch looked 5 years younger and I was very happy with the results. Mike offered to put the living room couches up on foam blocks, but I declined. However, it was really nice to know that had I wanted the furniture up off the floor that he would have done so.
He then got to work on the carpet. He spent extra time on the really tough areas and I picked his brain a little about the process while he worked. A short while later all was done and the carpet looked great. By the next day, when the carpet was dry, I was truly impressed as my nearly 20 year old carpet looked almost like new. A week later the carpet still looks fantastic.
I couldn’t be happier with the results or the service they provided from the initial contact to the onsite service call. I give them my highest recommendation and intend to have them come out again as needed until we replace our flooring in the next few months… and again in future as needed. They have made a life time customer out of me.
They also service the greater Austin metro area, so even if we move I know that we can still call on them to service our floors.

Had another great experience with Peace Frog. This time they came out on 11-​25-​2015. Arriving promptly, they went to work on the hall carpet. Great job on that. They also cleaned the slate tile and there was a snag. The cleaning solution reacted with the sealant on the tile and it looked funky. I asked them to help and they sure did. They sent someone else out and it was fixed. I will call on them again because I know they do good work and if anything happens they are happy to help out.

I have to say I don’t know why I waited so long to have our carpets cleaned, but I’m so glad I researched before hiring someone! Peace frogs service was amazing! Beginning with the ease of scheduling over the phone, along with the professionalism and friendliness, the service was just top notch! Our technician that came arrived early which was perfect! He worked quickly and efficiently and surpassed our expectations on carpet! We are a big family of 4 kids, 2 adults, and 2 dogs… our carpet looked brand new basically! He also left us a super sweet coffee mug with the frog on it! Thanks so much! You guys really are awesome!

They came out this past Saturday. The technician was super cool and friendly and our carpet looks amazing. (And that’s with 2 large dogs and 2 cats). I did a testimonial video for their site and I would definitely recommend their service.

I researched carpet cleaners for several weeks and ultimately decided on Peace Frog. It was a great choice! Their communication was timely and professional. The technician, Mike, arrived exactly when he said he would. He was fastidious in prepping the house for the hoses (guards on the floorboards, pads on the hardwoods, etc). He seemed genuinely interested in listening to my concerns about removing pet stains and he scanned all the carpets with black light to identify any other areas I may not have known about. While I had moved a lot of the furniture prior to his arrival, he moved some of the heavier items and put them on blocks after he finished cleaning. He left me some foot coverings so that I could walk on the carpet for the next 4 – 8 hours while it dried but it was completely dried within 2 – 3 hours.
There’s more to the story: After a couple of days, I noticed some of the pet stains seemed to be worse. I called Peace Frog on a Saturday and left a message with an answering service. I got a return call within 30 minutes from Mary and she was extremely helpful and empathetic. She didn’t have anyone available that day but she had Mike come back out the following week. When Mike arrived, he was very apologetic about the stains and got to work on them right away. The end result was better than I could have expected. I was convinced that one or two of the stains was set, but on his second pass both stains have disappeared completely.
I am giving Peace Frog a 5 star rating because their customer service was excellent, Mike was a skilled and caring technician, and even though stains came up after the 1^st cleaning, Peace Frog was prompt in making it right and the end result is fantastic!

We recently bought a house and it is mostly carpet with tile in kitchen /​bathrooms. We were a little concerned because you can tell its older and looked a little dingy. I found Peace Frog and was able to schedule a cleaning for all my floors in the tight deadline from close — move in. They are very reasonably priced. Jason showed up on time and was very professional. He did a WONDERFUL job! The tile and grout looks brand new and the carpets are fresh and Jason even inspected them and treated an area that may have had an old pet stain. I cannot say enough about how awesome of a job Peace Frog did. I highly, highly recommend this company!

Peace Frog did a great job on our carpets! John G, the technician, was friendly and knowledge. The dog smell is all gone and our carpets are better than the day that they were installed.

I cannot say enough good things about the entire process of engaging with Peace Frog. They have their act together. Great job James! I highly recommend this company for their thoroughness, professionalism and good work. My tile grout was stained and dirty and now it looks like new, and so do my carpets. M

We hired Peace Frog to clean our tile and color seal the grout. When they arrived and began applying the color seal they quickly found out the textured tile would not let them properly do the color seal. They worked for hours to clean up the one small bathroom to get the color seal off of the tile and leave it as they had found it. Then they applied a clear sealant to the grout. Along the way one of the workers accidentally broke a vanity light while cleaning the tile. While not ideal to have the light broken, Peace Frog was quick to reassure they would pay for the damage which they quickly did. For everything that went unexpectedly wrong with this visit, they worked hard to make it right for me. That’s all I really want with a service company. do quality work and put the customer first and Peace Frog did that. Thanks Mike and Mark for your hard work.

James was our guy and he was awesome. Arrived on time, explained everything he was doing, and made sure we reviewed all of his work. He worked hard to clean every inch and even moved furniture that we didn’t expect him to move. Our carpets look great! Thanks, James and Peace Frog!

So now I’m on the annual maintenance plan with Peace Frog. What a great deal! You can’t put prices in Unilocal,but I wish I could! I just give a call every few months and they come out to clean for free, since I paid a year membership at a great discount.
They came out this week, Jason did a fabulous job as usual. He is always super nice and explains everything and works efficiently. He added a walk-​in closet at no charge without even asking, how nice!
We have a dog that rubs on the front of our sofa and makes it so gross. He cleaned it perfectly and even told us how to get the stains off in between cleanings.
Peace Frog just makes it easy and does a great job.

I was in the next room for 3 minutes while my active & creative toddlers found a way into a latched cabinet and pulled out a jar of concentrated green food coloring. By the time I got to them, they, their clothes, and the carpet were entirely green. It looked like the Hulk had visited my dining room.
I tried to get up the carpet stain with my little Bissell, but it didn’t begin to tackle the stain. So, I called Peace Frog. They’d done a good job for us on a general carpet cleaning in the past. The phone rep was friendly, and honest in saying that sometimes green stains don’t come out. Thankfully, after James came to treat the stain professionally, the green is all gone!
James was friendly, efficient, and I felt comfortable with him in our home. He didn’t try to up-​sell me on anything other than a stain barrier (which we got last time and which I think really has worked to repel stains). He gave me some pointers for getting out small stains on my own between regular cleanings, too. And, he was honest that their base price includes two rooms — so rather than just treating a single stain, he did the living room, too. Win!

James arrived on time and was extremelky professional. We had both carpeted and tile floors cleaned and treated and everything looked fanatastic when he had finished. I will definitely use Peace Frog again and I would recommend them without any hesitation. Great job!

Peace Frog came out to touch up some missed spots, stretch my carpet, and add a stain resistant coating. The appointment time was between 11 — 2. Around noon, I received a call from Eugenie saying that Dustin was running late and would not be able to make it out until shortly after 2. At that time, I asked Eugenie to let me know before 2:00 if it would slip again, and she said she was happy to oblige.
Spoiler: She was not happy to oblige. I did not receive another call until 3:00, when I was told Dustin would be there by 4:00, and Eugenie inquired whether that would be ok. I asked her how long she expected the service to take, and she told me right around an hour. I said that was fine.
At 4:10 I received another call saying Dustin was on his way. He got there around 4:30. He did his usual great work, but once again, the time estimate I was given fell way short. Dustin was at my house until 7:30.
I’m docking my score from 5 stars to 4. The work Peace Frog does is still top notch, and I think that is surely the most important piece of the review, but they seem to not fully understand standard units of time. I ended up sitting in my house from 11 AM until 7:30 PM, and I live in the suburbs, so the view wasn’t great.
If accurate scheduling is not a problem for you, then I can recommend Peace Frog. But if your free time is scarce, you may want to look somewhere else.

My canine daughter peed her pants, and several DIY attempts with a quality carpet steam cleaner were unable to remove the horrible stench. Enter Peace Frog Carpet to the rescue! They were here on time (early!) and were also willing and able to tackle a last minute wool rug addition on the same visit. They were very clear in what I could expect from their visit, as well as what to do if the dog daughter pees her pants again. Their customer service rep was polite, friendly, and professional.
