Came here a lot for family needs, especially vegs. the vegs here are fresh, and price is moderate. Huge space and is not crowded. my son loves the electronic cart. he is 8 years old now, and he is excited to drive it every time we come for shopping. He is a fan of it now. like here, regular customer now.

This store has been in Cedar Park since the mid 80’s. It was suppose to be a Tom Thumb, hence the layout. We like going here because it seems that are done shopping ½ to an hr earlier than if we go to the one in Leander. That store is so big and its that way for a reason. The one on 183⁄1431 is perfect. No frills. The bakery and meat market are avg at best. Produce, deli and seafood good.

Great store. Quality food. Great staff. The store is always in tip top shape. Any time I have had special request they have gone out of their way to accommodate me. I like the fact there are many choices to purchase local food and American made items. Let make America great again.

I like the small town feel of this HEB. It’s not as large or well stocked as some of the surrounding HEB’s, but I just like the feel of it. They usually have everything I need, and the meat department usually has some good deals. The parking lot is a bit small and it gets crowded at times, partially due to the surrounding businesses. It is an older HEB and produce and bakery sections are a little limited. My favorite thing about this HEB is their fried chicken. It is by far the best fried chicken I’ve had from a grocery store. Great for snacking. It even gives some of the restaurant fried chicken a run for their money.

Would give them a negative rating if I could. How does a grocery store run out of milk? These people have flowers all of the time but they can’t manage to secure milk? Went there today, big sign on the milk area«Milk to be available after 7 pm.» It was 8 o’clock. Nobody even in the store-no staff. Shop elsewhere, this place is a total waste of time.

On more than one occasion, different doctors have called in prescriptions to this pharmacy, and after giving them a decent amount of time(45 – 60 minutes), each time I arrived at the drive-thru to be told that the prescription was not ready, or had not been received. Usually it was that the staff hadn’t checked their messages. Then I’d have to wait another hour or more for them to complete the order. They do get a star for having a drive-thru. But what’s the point if I park the car and go into the store with a fussy toddler because they tell me it’ll be ready in 20 minutes, and I’m still waiting in the store an hour later with a fussy toddler? UPDATE: Michael was very helpful and apologetic. Thanks, Michael!

I much prefer the HEB off 620 and Anderson Mill. This HEB is much smaller and seems busier than most. The bakery isn’t stocked as well either. However just like at every location, the employees are friendly and helpful. The building seems a little older but still kept very clean.

This is my first time in this location. I always shop at the parmer/whitestone location. Its older but has the same deals as the HEB I go to. I’m glad I went here for groceries with my mom and my grandmother mainly because of the awesome customer service I received from the cashier Zachary P. The young man helped me with the in-store coupons(2) that I totally forgot in my cart. I have two toddlers with me and I was oblivious to the coupons. Very pleasant experience and great customer service. Thank you!

This is my favorite HEB. The seafood dept has variety of fish and they look fresh… I also enjoy the wine isle being as close to the produce isle as possible. My only beef is the cheese isle, why would you choose to put cheese away from the milk and other dairy products. its a mind fu*&, but you get used to it after your second/third visit. I notice the variety of folks are diff than my other HEB across from Walmart, but the fresh selection and HEB reps willing to assist to make your shopping experience more enjoyable worth it. ALso I enjoy checking out with Rita, always personable. :)

My 9 year old son had a fractured arm and was in a lot of pain. We first tried to get his prescription at Walgreen’s and they said it would be an hour and a half! We went to this HEB pharmacy and they did everything they could to get the order done quickly. My son had not eaten because of all the time spent at the hospital. The pharmacist(I wish we could remember her name — Jessica or Danielle?) gave my son some of her own pretzels. She went the extra mile for a distressed little boy and we really appreciate their personalized care. Even other customers were talking about what a great person she is and how much she cares. This was Monday night, December 3rd2014.

I’ve been going to this HEB since the mid 80s. They needed the remodel but I’m disappointed that they didn’t do a better job of it. The store is a little bigger but not as nice as the HEB Plus in north Leander. I started going to that one during the remodel. Having gone back to this one a couple times since the remodel was finished I’m thinking I’m gonna stick with the one up north. At this one there is a lot of wasted space up towards the entrances and the floral selection is tiny. The cookie & muffin bar near the bakery is a cute idea but seems so unsanitary being so open where anyones hands can touch them, they can get coughed & sneezed on, or any dirt and dust from people walking by can land on them. As cute and yummy as they look there is no way in hell I buying something like that unless they are more encased. They didn’t do much with the floors and the whole place feels more industrial and less inviting now. So why did I give this place 3 stars? Well, it’s still an HEB and has great store brands equivalent to national brands at cheaper costs and you can’t beat the store coupons, meal deals, and combo locos.

How can two HEB’s a couple of miles apart in Cedar Park be so different? This has nothing to do with the mess of the remodel or the terrible parking lot, but about the employees and some of the sections. You always have to check the dates on anything with a sale by date on it. Employees walk right in front of you with out a sorry or excuse me. Produce department is like a Wal Mart produce section, poor quality and selection. Few registers open right before lunch hour, so line at ten or less long. Go to the store at Palmer and 1431.

This HEB location is just Aiiggghhhtt. They have had remodeling going on there for a while now. Its ok for a quick trip of a few needed things. They do not seem to have everything that the 2800 East Whitestone location a mile or two away has. I find the deli lacking. There seems to be the same grumpy lady working whenever I have tried getting deli meats. They also over cook their in house roast beef. The parking is Atrocious right now! I cant wait to see if this gets any better.

Best grocery store ever. If you need anything, one of the managers will do whatever they can to get it for you. The staff is always«Austin nice» and the place is clean, well organized and properly staffed. If we had to move, I’d probably miss this store as much as anything else.

Once this location is finished remodeling it will be nice. I’ve always appreciated their natural and organic selection.

This has been my preferred grocery store for 17 years. They are usually well stocked and easier to navigate than the bigger HEBs. That said they are in the middle of expanding this store. Because of this, parking is a mess and things are moved around a lot. Hopefully this is over fast. Be sure to check out he specials they usually have in the back by the meat department. There are usually this store only items at 50% off or more.

I hate to give a two-star review, but after shopping here for nearly 15 years, I’ve really pared down my visits to the store. 1) The produce is horrific. Poor variety and selection(and yes, I’m taking into account the size of the store), poor quality. Eat it now or compost it tomorrow. I’ve mentioned this to management. Zero craps given. 2) No regard for the customer when restocking shelves. Middle of the day, crap spewn about the aisle… Customers don’t care for obstacle courses. Less when workers give customers the stink eye when the customer needs something. A little, «May I get something for you?» is appropriate given that the customer is probably standing behind you because they want something, but probably not your autograph. 3) Samples are for customers. Of course workers are going to snag a few — hey, they buy food too. But to put out a sample tray and the on duty staff swarm like locust, standing in front of the display and not letting others in is kinda obnoxious.

Great selection… great prices… great service. This HEB is bright, clean and large. There is a decent selection of organic/natural produce, meats, dairy, and other packaged items. My sister from North Carolina commented on how cheap our produce prices are. Gracias Mexico! I love steaks and they have great prime steaks. When they go on sale, the price and quality are much better than Costco. I also love the meal deals, which usually involves buying the meat and getting the drinks and sides for free. Usually, the free items are HEB brands. I also like that the coupons are right in front of the items. The HEB generics are OK. I a side by side blind tasting of a variety of products, the name brand products always taste better to me. But if you are on a budget, the HEB products are very good for the price. The service here is friendly and efficient even though most of the employees are teenagers. The manager here really knows what he’s doing.
